As the Eagles’ acclaimed Sphere residency continues in Las Vegas, Nevada, Rhino will be reissuing two of Don Henley’s solo albums this fall—his first, I Can’t Stand Still (1982), and his most recent, Cass County (2015).

In the Summer of 1965, Ray Manzarek had a chance encounter on Venice Beach with Jim Morrison, a young poet whom he knew when they were both students at UCLA’s film school. Jim told Ray he had been living on a friend’s rooftop writing songs. Though Morrison had never intended to be a singer, he sat down on the beach and sang the new songs to Ray, including “Moonlight Drive.” Manzarek thought they were the best rock and roll lyrics he ever heard.

Acclaimed band Flatland Cavalry will release a special new album, Flatland Forever, November 8 via Interscope Records (pre-save here). The record, which the band first announced on stage last night during their headline debut at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, serves as a celebration of their past ten years together, as well as a look ahead to the next phase of their career.

Today, JJ Grey & Mofro have announced dates for their 2025 Olustee World Tour, with U.S. performances across Texas, the Southwest and West Coast in January 2025. The band then plays throughout Europe and the United Kingdom in February and March.

The last time Lettuce played at the original Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY, they performed a vibrant New Year's celebration to cap off a three-night stand on December 31, 2017. The Boston, MA-based sextet is no stranger to the jam band-friendly venue, as they were tapped for a two-night stand as part of the venue's fifteenth-anniversary celebration. We were fortunate to attend the second night on September 29, 2024.

This past weekend, jam band Spafford brought their electrifying performances to the Carolinas, with shows in Charlotte, Charleston, and Raleigh. One night in Charleston even featured a "Rock the Pink" event where fans were encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness month. The weekend was full of unforgettable surprise cover bust-outs that left audiences buzzing: “Ruby Soho” by Rancid and “The Other One” by Grateful Dead.

On Friday, October 4, 2024, legendary singer and songwriter Otis Redding was posthumously honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The unveiling ceremony took place at 6150 Hollywood Boulevard, where the late artist's name was immortalized in the category of Live Theatre/Live Performance. The 2,791st star on the Walk of Fame now proudly bears the name of one of the most influential figures in American music history.
