With just a few weeks to go until the return of Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival, independent festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents is pleased to share new details for one of the most anticipated events in the 2023 festival season. Available now are music set times, the official mobile app, additional on-site experiences and unique food and beverage offerings for one of America’s pinnacle rock festivals, held Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-28 at the Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.
 

On August 9th, the three-time GRAMMY-nominated guitarist and 26x Billboard chart-topper Joe Bonamassa will make his historic, first-ever appearance at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA, where he will perform alongside an orchestra for an exclusive one-night-only event. The performance will be part of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association’s Jazz Plus series, which offers an eclectic trip through the world of jazz, blues, R&B and beyond, with LA Phil Creative Chair for Jazz Herbie Hancock at the helm.

Reviving and carrying on the longtime tradition of hosting some of the most prominent names in American roots music and beyond, the 7th Suwannee Roots Revival takes place Thursday, October 5 - Sunday, October 8 at the renowned Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida.

Around 1958 Jack and I played our first gig in Charlotte Harbour’s basement in Washington, DC. I was the singer and played rhythm guitar and Jack played lead. I was 17 and Jack was 14…always ahead of his time. I cannot tell you exactly what songs we played, but for sure there were Buddy Holly songs, Conway Twitty songs, Jimmy Clanton songs; Just a dream, just a dream, All our plans and all our schemes. Who knew at that time what our musical dreams would become. Beyond our wildest dreams, I can tell you that. Sixty-five (count ‘em …65!) years of making music with my best friend.

Dave Mason left Traffic in 1969 to pursue a solo career in the U.S. Dave has penned over 100 songs, has 3 gold albums: Alone Together, Dave Mason, Mariposa De Oro, and platinum album Let It Flow, which contained the top-ten single “We Just Disagree”.
