Since The Blues Foundation was founded in 1980, it has held the mission of preserving and promoting blues around the world, and this year’s Keeping the Blues Alive Award honorees demonstrate just how successful the organization has been over the past four decades.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce the initial lineup for MerleFest 2020, which will be held April 23-26. The annual homecoming of musicians and music fans returns to the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. “For over 30 years, one of the major factors that has built and sustained MerleFest has been the quality of the artists and performances that our guests see over the 4-day festival,” says Ted Hagaman, Festival Director.

Last year, Domefest, the annual Pigeons Playing Ping Pong-hosted festival, celebrated 10 years by moving to a new home and welcoming their largest crowd to date. Domefest will return for its 11th consecutive year on May 14-16, 2020 at Marvin's Mountaintop in Masontown, WV.
