The 5th Annual San Diego Bayfest will be taking place on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 at the scenic Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego. With doors opening at 12pm, fans will be met with high energy musical performances accompanied by local food vendors, as well as bartenders pouring an assortment of Craft Beers & Cocktails.

The Prine Family will present the third annual “You Got Gold: Celebrating the Songs of John Prine” this October in Nashville, with shows at the historic Ryman Auditorium (October 9), The Basement East (October 10, Prine’s birthday) and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s CMA Theater (October 11). The three nights of shows will be followed by John Prine Community Day on October 12, which will feature a variety of community-focused activities (more details to come).

Legendary rock group Neil Young + Crazy Horse are set to bring their iconic sound to the Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village, CO, as part of their much-anticipated 2024 Love Earth Tour. Grammy Award-winning guitarist Peter Frampton will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024. Frampton, whose nomination marked his first appearance on the ballot to be considered for induction, will be amongst those honored at the ceremony in Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland this fall. “This is something I never expected,” shares Frampton. “I am overwhelmed that I will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, especially alongside so many incredible artists who have gone before me. I can’t thank everyone enough for voting for me.

Today, The Daydream Library Series releases “Rewilding” by Thurston Moore to celebrate Earth Day 2024. It’s an introspective and dreamy four minute and twelve second surprise inspired by the United Kingdom’s rewilding movement. “This terrain is changing / Rewilding, rearranging .…” Thurston sings over Deb Googe’s deep bass melody, percussionist Jem Doulton’s coconut drum beats, and Jon Leidecker’s otherworldly synth lines and textures.

Sphere Entertainment Co. (NYSE: SPHR) today announced a special Exosphere content show in celebration of Earth Day featuring work from multi-GRAMMY Award-winning Grateful Dead and Dead & Company percussionist Mickey Hart, and renowned filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg. Hart’s and Schwartzberg’s artwork will be combined into an 11-minute content show that will run at 6:00am PT today and at both 7:00pm and 8:00pm PT this evening. Their art will run individually at various times throughout the day as well.

A quarter-century ago, guitarist Eddie Roberts joined forces in Leeds (that’s a city in the U.K., my friends) with drummer Simon Allen, bassist Pete Shand, and keyboardist Bob Birch. Birch was replaced by Joe Tatton in 2007, and Tatton remains in the band to this day. Now, with over a dozen studio albums under their collective belts, the mostly-instrumental jazz-funk quartet is on tour to celebrate their new record, the not-ironically named “Old School.”
