In February 1968 and March 1976, the Who performed shows in the same venue, almost ten years apart: San Francisco’s Winterland. Generally considered as two marginal years in the Who’s career, they are only apparently so. These two years represent a screen grab of the band taken in its purest form: live, and harder than ever, right before and right after the huge success the Who struggled to live with in the years between.

Every New Year’s Eve, two-time Grammy winning band Old Crow Medicine Show celebrates by performing at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. This year, Old Crow Medicine Show will continue their 14th annual New Year’s Eve tradition at the Ryman with shows that will feature a musical reunion with the co-founder of the band, Willie Watson. Legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame musician and songwriter Dave Mason announces his spring 2024 tour plans; the Traffic Jam tour will begin February 29 in Florida and run through April 13 in San Antonio, TX. The renowned jam-band Spafford closed out their 2023 Fall Tour at Ardmore Music Hall this weekend in Ardmore, PA.  The two nights of stellar improvisational music were streamed live by Nugs.net and highlighted by extensive spacey jams and multiple tasty covers.  Both nights had countless memorable moments and on night two Spafford did exactly what they do best with some incredible musical pairings.
