It might be a musical stretch to even think of the British rock-pop band Queen and U.S. folk-rock singer John Sebastian in the same thought bubble. But it’s really an ironic numbers thing about them both that just came to mind. As Sebastian once sang in a Lovin’ Spoonful song, “there’s thirteen-hundred and fifty-two guitar pickers in Nashville.” And, of course, there aren’t that many Queen tribute bands in the world.

BeachLife, Southern California’s premier live music, art and culinary event, is back again for its 5th year taking over Redondo Beach’s picturesque waterfront May 3-5, 2024. Those that have attended previous years know the festival delivers a high-end experience and memorable performances from an eclectic group of legendary top talent and exciting inspired emerging artists spanning rock, indie, pop, jam, reggae and more.

Multi-instrumentalist Gabe Epstein announces the release of his debut solo album, Washington Express. A graduate of the East Tennessee State University bluegrass program and a member of progressive bluegrass supergroup Songs From the Road Band, Gabe is known for his hard-driving, innovative banjo style. On Washington Express, Gabe’s talents as a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter are also highlighted.

The Red Clay Strays, one of music’s fastest-rising bands, will make their headline debut at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium with three sold-out shows on September 4, 5 and 6. The second and third shows were added due to overwhelming demand after the first night immediately sold-out, leading all three shows to sell out within just hours.
