Andy Hall of The Infamous Stringdusters and Roosevelt Collier of The Lee Boys have come together on a new album, Let The Steel Play, which is set for independent release June 16, 2017. Let the Steel Play was born out of a love of slide guitar, and a friendship made through music.

Big Words sounds like a funk band in a fever dream. Bassist Josh Myers is known for straddling the borders of jazz, rock and soul, particularly by supplying his steady low-end to Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds. Branching out from that in his own endeavor, he applies his harmonic compositions and sonic wanderlust to this instrumental band where the musical possibilities are endless.

CALICO the band, the California country group led by Manda Mosher and Kirsten Proffit will showcase at this year’s AmericanaFest.  Known for their  quintessential California country sound, CALICO the band will release their sophomore album, Under Blue Skies, on July 21 through Mosher and Profitt’s own imprint, California Country Records LLC.  The duo’s indie Americana country label is also home to Alice Wallace -- who will be performing at this year’s Fest as well.

As the middle of 2017 approaches, Brooklyn based, funk party powerhouse Turkuaz is thrilled to announce that their plans for the Fall will commence with a return to the West Coast.  The tour will canvas California, reach up throughout the Pacific Northwest, extend as far east as Colorado, and conclude at Joshua Tree Music Festival.  The majority of dates will feature support from very special guest Sinkane.

Stanley Family Records is proud to announce the new self-titled album by Ralph Stanley II & The Clinch Mountain Boys made its debut at #10 on Billboard’s Top 15 Bluegrass Album Chart.  This is the first album release from the band since Ralph II took over the Clinch Mountain Boys band name last year per the wishes of his late father Dr. Ralph Stanley.  The band includes Clinch Mountain Boy John Rigsby on fiddle and mandolin, Alex Leach on banjo, Noah Brown on the upright bass, and Ralph Stanley II on the guitar.

Renowned gypsy punk band GOGOL BORDELLO announce their new album, the seventh in their wide-ranging oeuvre which comes out August 25th , 2017 via Cooking Vinyl.

Fans of the “Father of Bluegrass Music” have a unique opportunity to own the rights to the name and likeness to Bill Monroe. Regarded as the man who started the format, Monroe joined the WSM Grand Ole Opry in 1939, and was a member for almost six decades – until his passing in September 1996. One of the few members of both the Country Music Hall of Fame and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Monroe’s musical legacy included legendary stints on Columbia Records and MCA / Decca, with whom he was associated for forty years.
