Out of all the miracles recorded in religious texts, history and fiction, I think Jesus' first miracle is my favorite.  After all, what is better than turning water into wine? This got me into the most rewarding hobby I have every tried – home brewing.

Turning water into wine is hardly a miracle, though it will take you more time than it did Jesus. The equipment to get started is around $75. Any home brew store can help you get started. You can use a lot of this same equipment to make beer as well, though beer is a little more difficult than wine to make.

There will be a free staged reading and full sing through of CUMBERLAND BLUES , which incorporates 20 songs by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter, Monday, February 7 at the Carousel Dinner Theatre in Akron, Ohio. A limited number of invitations are available.

Column 3: Being deaf

Since October, I'm taking evening classes in Flemish sign language. Therefore, I want to introduce you in the deaf culture as well.

Born in Corning, Iowa - Raised in Nebraska and attented The University of Nebraska -  Johnny died today at 79 -   His show was the stepping stone for countless acts today, including David Letterman, Rodney Dangerfield, and so many more.

May 21st, 1992 was his last Tonight Show -   Johnny died of emphysema.

Before the 4/20/2001 show at Sanchos Broken Arrow (Denver, Colorado), The Grateful Web had a chance to sit down with Steve Kimock and his take on current events and some of his world views.
