We’re taking a break from our national act posts to talk about Denver locals RAH (Rebecca Ann Henry, Daniel Greenblatt, and Will Scheisser) who have announced their newest live experience February 12th at the Bluebird Theater. In a little over a week, RAH will be joined by Honey Puddle (Led Zeppelin cover band), and Contraband in a night of upbeat music and a new age twist on circus arts, combining aerial dance and creative extravaganzas with live electronic rock performance. RAH will feature Denver and Boulder local performers Andrew Hill, Ariana Papousek, Sarah Bender, Luna Cash and Lynn Kleinberger.
With only a few single releases and an EP around the corner, RAH has quickly risen to the attention of publications such as HEAR Magazine who described RAH’s art as a “truly breathtaking piece of work not only lyrically and visually, but psychologically.” The trio comprised rock style drumming, shred/experimental guitar and a female that really brings it, are most inspired by Bjork, Portishead, Minus The Bear, Nine Inch Nails. As big supporters of the Denver and Colorado music scenes, we at Grateful Web highly recommend these locals who may not just be locals very long.
