Hardly Strictly Bluegrass announces the fourth round of musicians in this year’s Let The Music Play On, with Boz Scaggs, Jim Lauderdale, Fantastic Negrito, Rhiannon Giddens with Francesco Turrisi, and Robert Earl Keen.  Let the Music Play On is a celebration of roots music, honoring the 20th Anniversary of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, airing Saturday featuring new performance footage, archival sets, and fans’ festival memories from previous years.

Bonnaroo has unveiled full details for Virtual ROO-ALITY, a free three-night live broadcast airing exclusively via YouTube. The livestreaming event will celebrate the beloved annual festival with a remarkable range of programming, spanning brand new live performances, unique original content, and incredible archival sets captured at Bonnaroo’s home at Great Stage Park in Manchester, TN.

Trey Anastasio Band will release their new live album, Burn It Down, this Friday, September 18. Produced and mixed by Vance Powell (Phish, Chris Stapleton, Jack White), the album is a three-dimensional sonic time capsule that captures the explosive eight-piece band on their January 2020 tour.  The 15-song tracklist combines TAB’s trademark tight musicianship with unbounded performances that make Burn It Down a compelling document of this band at the peak of its powers.

The Wood Brothers have announced 'Musical Squares,' the celebrated Nashville-based band's first extended webcast appearance since the outset of the pandemic. The performance will air on Wednesday, September 23 at 8:30pm ET / 5:30pm PT with a 14-day re-stream option as part of the 'Live From Out There' series streaming via LiveXLive.

The Allman Betts Band released their sophomore studio album Bless Your Heart (BMG) on Aug 28 and the (usually) 200 tour date a year band has not slowed since. The band played two successful drive-in shows in the Northeast earlier this month as well as a live-streamed show via NoCap. The band is gearing up for three live performances in PA and NY this coming weekend.
