A fiddle prodigy who received a GRAMMY nod for his Compass Records release, PORTRAITS IN FIDDLES, Mike Barnett returns with a new album of 14 duets he’s titled + 1. The album, originally slated for a fall 2020 release, was delayed when Mike suffered a brain aneurysm last summer at his Nashville home.

Multi-award-winning bluegrass artist Rhonda Vincent was formally inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry Saturday by Opry member Dierks Bentley. The invitation was delivered in February of 2020 by Opry member Jeannie Seely with an original induction date scheduled for March 24, 2020, prior to the pandemic.

Rising indie rock artist Michigander, the sonic alter ego of Michigan native Jason Singer, has released his new single “OK” and revealed the details for his third EP, Everything Will Be OK Eventually, due out March 19th via C3 Records. Built around a melodic piano loop, head-nodding bass line, steady claps, and flashes of lead guitar, “OK” culminates on a chantable hook as Singer assures, “It’s okay to be lonely.

Set for Saturday, March 6 at 7pm ET, “For The Crew,” presented by NoCap and in collaboration with the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, will feature performances by Jeff Schroeder of The Smashing Pumpkins, Kevin Rudolf and Tommy Marz. Proceeds from the event will be going directly to support members of the live music industry; the road crew who are the backbone of every show, night-after-night, that have been devastated by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cory Keefe is among that new wave of country traditionalists making a big noise with a new generation of music fans. Coming from the Gulf Coast of Florida, which may well be known as Music Row South, Keefe is country newcomer, but an experienced balladeer. Today, he releases his debut single, “Where There’s A Beer There’s A Way,” a preview track from his forthcoming independent album.
