April 2022

The newly reopened Skylark Lounge in Denver, CO, hosted Skylark owners Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats for three frenetic concerts, April 12-14th, to benefit Rateliff’s foundation The Marigold Project. Together over the residency, $36,500 was raised for the foundation. Each night, 175 people witnessed a blistering show from Denver’s own band, whose next hometown shows are two sold-out nights at Red Rocks in August.

Today, The String Cheese Incident released their first collection of new music since 2017’s Believe. The title track for the new EP, Into The Blue, was penned by SCI’s Michael Kang in 2020 as his mother was diagnosed with an aggressive form of pancreatic cancer. Kang says he saw his mother approach her diagnosis head-on. There didn't seem to be any fear, or sadness.

Bay Area staples and coast-to-coast road warriors, Midnight North, are pleased to announce the release of a new live album, Selections from Levon Helm Studios. The album was recorded live at their show at the iconic barn in Upstate New York on November 9, 2019. The album is due out May 20 on Americana Vibes.
