Aftershock 2025, the West Coast’s ultimate rock, punk, and metal destination, reached new heights this year—drawing more than 164,000 fans from all 50 states and over 30 countries to Sacramento’s Discovery Park for four unforgettable days of music, community, and chaos. Produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, the event generated an estimated $35 million in local economic impact and capped off a record-breaking 2025 festival season.

Thursday

• Blink-182’s nostalgia-driven headlining set featured special guest Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio) on “Bored to Death.”

• Good Charlotte delivered a West Coast festival exclusive joined by Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley for “Fat Lip” and “In Too Deep.”

Friday

• Deftones returned home to Sacramento, performing on the exact 30th anniversary of their debut album Adrenaline.

• Lamb of God debuted “Sepsis” live, with Randy Blythe joining Lacuna Coil for “Hosting the Shadow.”

• Dream Theater marked 40 years with a special anniversary performance.

• The Dillinger Escape Plan staged their long-awaited West Coast reunion show.

Saturday

• Korn closed their 2025 tour with a high-voltage headlining set, including a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne on “4 U.”

• Flyleaf’s Lacey Sturm made surprise appearances with both Saliva and Scary Kids Scaring Kids.

• Trivium celebrated the 20th anniversary of Ascendancy with a full-album performance.

Sunday

• Bring Me The Horizon closed the festival with a futuristic, high-tech spectacle teasing their upcoming 2026 tour.

• Chimaira returned to the West Coast for the first time in 11 years.

• GWAR’s 40th anniversary set turned Discovery Park into a blood-soaked theater of chaos and satire.
