Magnolia Fest celebrates its 19th year at the magnificent Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL on October 15-18, 2015. Spicing it up a bit more, the festival announces the additions of this year and adding The Motet and London Souls to the bill.
Chances are if you’ve been to a bluegrass festival the memories most prevalent are not so much that of the “scheduled” performers but more of the impromptu jams and unscheduled collaborations. It’s with that spirit that the McCoury family decided to embark on a traveling bluegrass festival called The Bluegrass Ball. In the past 3 years, The Bluegrass Ball has traveled across the country picking up multiple pickers and fans along the way.
Marco Benevento has announced new Fall 2015 tour dates for October, including shows in Northampton, Providence and Washington, DC, as well as, in his adopted hometown of Woodstock, NY. He'll also head to the Midwest for six dates highlighted by a two-night stand at the intimate Tonic Room in Chicago. These shows will sell out, so advance ticket purchases are advised. Tickets for the entire tour go on-sale this Friday, July 24.

Real Gone Music is blowing up a storm with its early September release schedule. First up is a long-awaited, years-in-the-making Texas Tornados collection, a 2-CD, 39-track set that features key tracks from all of their albums and six unreleased tracks. Today, The Motet announces their Fall 2015 tour dates. The progressive funk collective will unveil their brand new “Mixtape 1977” set over Halloween weekend in four Midwest cities. This marks the first Halloween on the road for The Motet. Meanwhile, fans along the Colorado Front Range can look forward to the launch of a new tradition, The Motet’s “Hometown Hustle,” at the Ogden Theatre on November 13 and 14.
