Closing out 2023 with a bang, New Orleans musical heavyweights Rebirth Brass Band appear for a two-night run at The Hamilton Live in Washington D.C., also featuring the fierce funk/soul guitarist Sol Roots on December 30th, and the talented group Gordon Sterling & The People on December 31st.

One Time Weekend, Connecticut's dynamic quartet, proudly announces the release of their latest live performance video, "Masquerade of Madness," recorded live at Infinity Hall in Hartford, CT. This near-sellout event, held on December 2, 2023, showcased an extraordinary collaboration with renowned artists, including Zdenek Gubb from Twiddle, guitar prodigy Brandon "Taz" Niederauer, and the vibrant West End Blend horn section.

December is for holidays, and this year was no exception. The rising jam rock band Dogs In A Pile put on an outstanding, sold-out show at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ on December 16, 2023, that included a visit by Mr. Grinch, as well as some stellar covers. This performance was part of a two-night stand at the legendary Jersey Shore venue in honor of the December holidays. Percussionist Adrian Tramontano (Twiddle) sat in for the second set.

Sonic Guild (formerly Black Fret), a national music nonprofit that builds communities to support the creation and performance of exceptional local music, recently expanded into Colorado. With the support of local Sonic Guild members and partners, Colorado has invested nearly $100,000 in grants and thriving wage performance fees for local artists since its launch two years ago. Now, the organization is launching its People's Choice Award.
