Ryan Bingham was born in Hobbs, NM, hard up against the Texas Panhandle. He grew up in the West Texas oil fields, then spent time as a teenage rodeo cowboy in towns all across the state. Along the way, he absorbed the Cajun culture of western Louisiana, the hardcore hip-hop favored by his Houston friends, and the border songs of the Mexican immigrants. Today, NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE: NASHVILLE’S BIG BASH announced that the annual event will return to CBS in a new multi-year deal. Grammy and Pulitzer Prize-winning artist Rhiannon Giddens is collaborating with the Pennsylvania Innocence Project on a fundraising initiative and a powerful music video for her song "Another Wasted Life.” The music video was released today, on the 10th annual Wrongful Conviction Day.  The “Another Wasted Life” video features 22 wrongfully convicted people, clients of the Pennsylvania Innocence Project.
