The Barr Brothers have announced that they will be opening for Mumford & Sons. Beginning on October 8 at the United Center in Chicago, the tour will see Brad and Andrew Barr accompanying Marcus Mumford and co. to major East Coast arenas including Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena, and a homecoming performance at Montreal’s Bell Centre. Andrew - The Barr Brothers’ drummer/singer/songwriter - has also been playing drums for Mumford & Sons on their recent Rushmere tour.

When The Barr Brothers finally broke their eight-year silence, they did not return alone for their new single “English Harbour.” Brad and Andrew Barr are joined by longtime friend Jim James of My Morning Jacket and Joice Adams of Arc Iris. FOLLOW THE ARROW, the second annual edition of the Hudson Valley festival presented by Marco Benevento at Arrowood Farms in Accord, NY, has been announced for Saturday, June 17. Benevento and his band will be joined by Rubblebucket, The Barr Brothers, Scott Metzger, and Benevento Family Band. A second round of artists and special guests will be revealed in early April.

Brad Barr - the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter of The Barr Brothers and The Slip - shared the haunting video for his new single "TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN." The track is the latest song to release from The Winter Mission, Barr's brand new instrumental solo guitar album releasing on January 21st through Secret City Records.
