All-star collaborations for NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE: NASHVILLE’S BIG BASH, a star-studded entertainment special hosted by country music stars and GRAMMY®-nominated artists Jimmie Allen and Elle King and ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT’s Rachel Smith were announced today. The celebration to ring in the new year will air LIVE from Music City, Saturday, Dec. 31 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT; 10:30 PM-1:30 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and stream live and on demand on Paramount+*.

Today, Indian-American, Austin-based singer and composer Nagavalli announces the release of her upcoming album “Numinosum,” slated for release on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023. To celebrate the new record, Nagavalli will be performing an official album release show on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Stateside Theatre at the Paramount located at 719 Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78701. Chris Williams and Kid Reverie’s new album began with an inquisitive search for a simple sound. Having heard Steve Varney’s (Kid Reverie) open-back banjo accompanying fellow songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov on a YouTube video, Williams began tracking down something similar for his own personal collection. “That banjo sounded so amazing on one condenser mike, and I wanted to find one like it,” says Williams. After a long search, he landed on Varney’s website.

Today, Nancy Jones – the widow of George Jones – announced the one-night-only concert event “Still Playing Possum: Music and Memories of George Jones,” to honor the legacy and music of “the greatest country singer of all time”.
