RISE Festival, the world's largest sky lantern festival, is set to illuminate the Mojave Desert once again for its milestone 10th anniversary, spanning three unforgettable nights from October 3rd through 5th, 2025. Located just 20 miles south of Las Vegas on the striking expanse of Jean Dry Lake Bed, RISE offers a unique convergence of immersive art, soul-stirring music, and the breathtaking spectacle of thousands of lanterns ascending into the desert sky.

The 62nd Philadelphia Folk Festival is excited to announce the complete lineup of artists performing on the Main Stage Evening Concerts during the weekend of August 15-17 at the Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township. Newly added artists include Alejandro Escovedo; Cedric Watson et Bijou Creole; Eileen Ivers; The Gibson Brothers; The Lee Boys; and Ordinary Elephant. Veteran Philadelphia area singer-songwriter, John Flynn, will emcee the Main Stage for the festival weekend as well as perform.

There’s something undeniably special about a weekend tucked away in the hills of Driftless Music Gardens, and this year’s Bonfire Music & Arts Festival was no exception. From June 12 – 14 in Yuba, Wisconsin, music lovers gathered under sunny skies and starry nights for three days of pure, unfiltered joy. With a fantastic lineup headlined by Railroad Earth, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, People Brothers Band, and Heatbox, the weekend became one long, beautiful jam session.
As the sun dipped toward the horizon on June 11—one of the year’s longest days—thousands of campers had already transformed the fields of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, into a sprawling tent city. The festival officially runs four days, but attendees may now arrive as early as Tuesday. By Wednesday most fans were settled in, and the first wave of festivities had begun in Outeroo, the network of satellite campgrounds that comes alive before the main grounds open on Thursday.

Boston-based string band Rachel Sumner & Traveling Light took home the top prize at the 2025 Telluride Bluegrass Band Contest. The trio, made up of Club Passim staff members including School of Music Manager Rachel Sumner on vocals and Performance Manager Kat Wallace on fiddle, craft music that blends folk tradition with feminist storytelling, poetic lyricism, and a touch of grit.
All Good Now Day Two began without a hitch, despite the threat of inclement weather. While rain did fall in the afternoon, it was far less than predicted, allowing the bands to relax and focus on the music. Tonight’s lineup featured inspired performances by both Goose and Lawrence, among other jam-friendly acts.
On this Summer Solstice, Salmonfest is proud to reveal its vibrant 2025 poster, masterfully illustrated by Alaskan artist Mark Henson. The artwork—depicting a fishing boat gliding home through luminous waters, salmon leaping among the stars, and a jubilant crowd gathered on the shore—captures the very spirit of Salmonfest: a celebration of wild salmon, clean water and the shared rhythms of music and nature.
