Producers Danny Wimmer Presents – one of the largest independent promoters in the U.S. – pulled out all the stops to celebrate a decade of Louder Than Life, North America’s Largest Rock Festival, including the mighty return of thrash gods Slayer to the stage.

Louder Than Life has retained its title of the Biggest Rock Festival In North America after a successful 2023 edition that welcomed 180,000 music fans over the weekend of September 21-24, breaking a new event record.

Louder Than Life—known as America’s Biggest Rock Festival—returns to Louisville, Kentucky in just three weeks. And now fans can get ready for the nonstop four-day weekend with the announcement of music performance times and additional onsite entertainment.

A massive gathering of over 170,000 music fans, more than 100 music acts and dozens of Louisville’s finest spirits came together this past weekend, helping Louder Than Life retain its reputation as the World’s Largest Whiskey & Music Festival and America’s Biggest Rock Festival.

With just over two weeks to go until the return of Louder Than Life, festival producers Danny Wimmer Presents have announced music set times, additional onsite entertainment and unique food offerings for the World’s Largest Whiskey & Music Festival, September 22-25, 2022 at Highland Festival Grounds at Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.

When the 2021 edition of Louder Than Life concluded last September – having welcomed a record-breaking crowd of 160,000 people in Louisville, Kentucky – local newspaper LEO Weekly pondered, "How will DWP top this for Louder Than Life 2022?
