Chances are if you’ve been to a bluegrass festival the memories most prevalent are not so much that of the “scheduled” performers but more of the impromptu jams and unscheduled collaborations. It’s with that spirit that the McCoury family decided to embark on a traveling bluegrass festival called The Bluegrass Ball. In the past 3 years, The Bluegrass Ball has traveled across the country picking up multiple pickers and fans along the way.
The West Coast has had to wait a bit for Cornmeal but the band is excited to be back to show off their new lineup and with a new studio album (the first in 9 years) ‘Slow Street’ freshly released. Check out the West Coast dates below. A tour 4 years in the making!

2014 was a year of change for jamgrass favorites Cornmeal. You wouldn’t be far off by calling the initial line up of the eighth installment of DelFest, the DelFest “All Stars” as it features many fan favorites from the first seven years including Old Crow Medicine Show, Railroad Earth, and Leftover Salmon, as well as Trampled by Turtles, Greensky Bluegrass, and the Steep Canyon Rangers--bands that have seemingly grown up with the festival.
