Tomorrow, Thursday, October 11, 2012, indie-folk cellist Ben Sollee will kick off the official 2012 Vice Presidential Debate in his home state of Kentucky. Just before Vice President Joe Biden and Congressman Paul Ryan square off inside Centre College’s Norton Center for the Arts, Sollee and his trio have the prestigious honor of performing on the campus’ main lawn.

Half-Made Man, Sollee’s self-produced fourth studio album, was released today on Sollee’s own Tin Ear Records and distributed by Thirty Tigers. The album features an exciting cast of musicians including guitarist Carl Broemel (My Morning Jacket), fiddle player Jeremy Kittel (Turtle Island Quartet), bassist Alana Rocklin, percussionist Jordon Ellis and guest vocalist Abigail Washburn.
