Today, GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Joe Ely has announced his new album Driven to Drive, due out August 2 via Rack ‘Em Records / Thirty Tigers. With twenty-three albums and several million miles under the West Texas native’s belt, Driven to Drive is Ely’s first road album, featuring a collection of songs inspired by his travels from different eras of his illustrious career which spans five decades.

Singer/songwriter Evan Honer announced today his new album Fighting For will release on June 7th through Cloverdale Records. Today, Nashville-based Aussie artist Wesley Dean releases his new album Music From Crazy Hearts, the companion piece to an upcoming feature film, Crazy Hearts: The Documentary, which sees Dean hit the road with his family for an ambitious tour across America. With a director and cameraperson in tow, Dean and his family drove over 5000 miles from Nashville to Los Angeles in an RV via towns steeped in musical history playing shows off the beaten track; Memphis, New Orleans, Luckenbach, Marfa, Las Vegas, and more.

Today, six-time GRAMMY-winning musician, producer, composer, and Blue Note Records President Don Was announced his new group Don Was and The Pan-Detroit Ensemble. Made up of stellar jazz musicians from his hometown, the band features longtime collaborators including Blue Note Records artist Dave McMurray on sax and Eminem’s Oscar-winning collaborator keyboardist Luis Resto.
