Today, GRAMMY-nominated trio Midland released the deluxe version of their critically acclaimed new album Barely Blue, adding duets with Kaitlin Butts and Paul Cauthen to the previously released songs “Vegas” and “Lone Star State of Mind.” Over the weekend, the band headlined Red Rocks Amphitheatre as part of The Get Lucky Tour, which continues through the end of the year. Today, the legendary jazz group The Bad Plus releases “Casa Ben,” the second single from their upcoming LP Complex Emotions, out November 8 via Mack Avenue Records. Composed by drummer Dave King, the track’s steadfast percussion, spacey synths and cascading sax bounce around an airy sonic landscape. They’ve also announced additional dates on their extensive fall/winter tour including shows in Pittsburgh, Atlanta and more.

Today, Austin-based singer-songwriter William Harries Graham shares “Philadelphia,” the third single from his upcoming album Annie’s House, due out October 25 via Strolling Bones Records. “Philadelphia” captures the bittersweet feeling of looking back on youth without longing for it, embracing life’s beauty at all different stages. Today, Evan Honer released a new version of his song “Mr. Meyers” featuring guest vocals from Charles Wesley Godwin. Today, acclaimed jazz/funk six-piece band Huntertones released their live video for “Biff / For Roy,” taken from the recently released EP Huntertones on Audiotree Live. The EP features live versions of tracks from their albums Motionation and Engine Co., recorded at Audiotree studios in Chicago. The new studio full-length Motionation was released on April 12, 2024, and is currently eligible for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album and Best Instrumental Composition (“Tunnel”) at the 67th Annual GRAMMY® Awards.

Today, singer-songwriter, producer and SUSTO co-founder Johnny Delaware shares “Incógnita,” the next offering from his forthcoming third album Para Llevar, out November 1 via Normaltown Records / New West Records. “Incógnita,” which translates to “unknown” or “mystery,” unfolds as a rhythmic instrumental over Spanish guitar and is inspired by Delaware’s time in Mexico. Holler recently featured the new song, calling it “a warm light flickering gently in the darkness.”
