Today, JAZZ HOUSE KiDS announced GRAMMY winning saxophonist Kenny Garrett has been added as a headliner of the 15th Annual MONTCLAIR JAZZ FESTIVAL Downtown Jamboree.

Today, Jerry Phillips, the son of Sam Phillips (producer, disc jockey, and founder of the legendary studio and record label Sun Records), released his debut album For The Universe through Omnivore Recordings. For many of us, the stories of Sun Records are legend, but for Jerry, they were his family. As a child, he was surrounded by the stars who made the music that became the foundation of rock & roll; Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. While we may listen to rock and roll music, Jerry was baptized in it.

Today, rising singer/songwriter Evan Honer released a new version of his song “Fighting For” featuring a stunning duet with breakout country star Hailey Whitters. The single arrives on the heels of Honer’s sophomore album Fighting For which dropped earlier this summer and has since earned over 25 million streams worldwide.

Today, Austin-based singer-songwriter William Harries Graham announced his fourth full-length album Annie’s House due out October 25 via Strolling Bones Records. The album, Graham’s debut on the label, is a blend of Americana, rock 'n' roll, and folk, which showcases his storytelling prowess, weaving personal and vivid memories into his music. Along with the announcement, Graham unveiled the album’s lead single “Ohio State,” which encapsulates the album’s thematic exploration of love, nostalgia, and personal growth.

Today, the legendary jazz group The Bad Plus announces their new album Complex Emotions out November 8 via Mack Avenue Records, their first release with the label. They’ve also shared the high-energy first single “French Horns” featuring a ferocious melody that seems to ping-pong from one corner of the room to another.

CBS host Vladimir Duthiers spoke with Founder Melissa Walker and her husband, nine-time GRAMMY-Award winning bassist and the non-profit’s Artistic Director Christian McBride. While visiting the JAZZ HOUSE headquarters in Montclair, NJ, Duthiers also interviewed JAZZ HOUSE KiDS students Mark Ricco and Sinclair Powell about the positive impact the organization has had on their lives.

Today, singer-songwriter, producer and SUSTO co-founder Johnny Delaware has announced his third studio album Para Llevar, due out November 1 via Normaltown Records / New West Records. Recorded in studios across Latin America and the United States, Para Llevar (which translates to “to go” or “to take”) is a deeply personal exploration of human nature through the eyes of a nomadic observer.
