UTOPiAfest Down In The Oaks music, art and nature festival will celebrate its 10th birthday on November 2 – 4 in Burnet, Texas. What began as gathering of music lovers on a ranch in Utopia, Texas, has evolved into a community of thinkers, doers and creators. The 2018 event will feature more than 35 bands including headliners STS9, Lukas Nelson and Patty Griffin.

Beyond the soul-grabbing music and beautiful scenery, festival goers will enjoy a curated culinary and beverage experience, workshops and art installations. Sip Texas-made wine in an immersive grove designed by William Chris Wines and cheers to true Texas craft beer in the beer garden brought to life by our partners Zilker Brewing Company, Texas Beer Co. and Real Ale Brewing Company. Zilker Brewing Company even brewed a Utopian Festival Ale celebrating the spirit of the fest. In addition to sipping 100% Texas-made wine and real craft beer, festival goers will experience workshops and presentations from our partners throughout the weekend. “Saying goodbye to our festival’s original home, Four Sister’s Ranch, never felt like an ending, but a new beginning,” says festival founder Travis Sutherland, “to be able to expand our UTOPiAn dream and be accessible to more people is an honor. We can’t wait to create an unforgettable weekend in the Texas Hill Country.”

UTOPiAfest Down In The Oaks will be hanging it’s hat on a historic, family-owned ranch near Burnet, Texas just 45 minutes outside Austin. Festival goers have more options than ever this year to enjoy the weekend, including camping, glamping, and RV rentals and for the first time in festival history, day-passes and regular shuttles to and from Austin will be available. The fest is open to fans of all ages including a kid zone activation and affordable ticket prices for little ones.

UTOPiAfest Down In The Oaks is a joint production of original UTOPiAfest team lead by founder Travis Sutherland, and Down In The Oaks Entertainment partners Patrick Harrison, Brandon Harrison, and Jeff Dena. This group is driven by a shared love for music, art and nature and a commitment to elevating the core UTOPiAn vision that so many have fallen in love with over the last 10 years.

“We know that when nature welcomes music, surrounded by top-notch hospitality, art installations, and a unique festival experience, each guest will truly understand what makes the experience so special,” says partner Patrick Harrison.

So, pack your bags and hit the road with UTOPiAfest Down In The Oaks over the next few months as new details are unveiled about this beautiful weekend under the oaks.
