Alternative rock and reggae group 82FIFTY recently released their third full-length album 82FIFTY. With over 2k streams on Spotify and counting, the highly-anticipated album, produced by the group's lead guitarist Zach Manzano (Audio Ramen), takes the band to a new level of musicality featuring a mashup of different sound elements including face-melting guitar solos and hard-hitting drum and bass hooks.

The four-piece band celebrated the launch of the new album via live stream on 105.9 The Wave FM, with each of the four members performing from their respective homes.

Standout tracks of the new album include rocker anthems “Good Die Young” and “Fire” with a reggae twist and high energy vibe. “Good Die Young” was written as a tribute to Bob Marley, Kurt Cobain, John Lennon and Bradley Nowell, four amazing artists that influenced 82FIFTY musically and who passed away way too soon. “Fire” highlights the inner power and motivation to keep going despite life’s ongoing challenges.

LA-based record label Dune Altar's first charitable compilation will help bring awareness to the mental health conditions plaguing 44 million Americans today, and so many more worldwide. Inspired by Adrian Borland, front man of The Sound and brilliant artist who suffered from schizo affective disorder and severe depression, Do You Feel That Way Too? A Tribute to The Sound was conceived by a team of 16 artists who have all been touched and inspired by the music of The Sound.  Set to be released on June 17, 2020, the album features various artists including Actors, INVSN, Creux Lies, Ancestors, Topographies, and more covering the spectacularly overlooked UK post-punk band. As a criminally underrated yet tremendously influential 1980’s UK band, The Sound was seldom acknowledged by and has long since been forgotten by the mainstream. The story of The Sound has been inextricably linked to mental health, a connection that was solidified with Adrian Borland’s suicide in 1999.In honor of this cause, Dune Altar has partnered with Painted Brain, a Los Angeles non-profit organization, providing art and community-based solutions to mental health challenges. All proceeds from the album will be donated to Painted Brain to put toward their various programs. Purchase of the album also includes an extensive digital booklet featuring unseen photos, brand new interviews, mental health statistics, additional resources and more!

In conjunction with the album release, Dune Altar is hosting a raffle through Sept. 1, 2020 for a chance to win one of two beautiful guitars kindly donated by Fender. Each $10 donation will receive one raffle ticket, with all proceeds benefiting Painted Brain.
