Baltimore-based electro-funk band, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have released a track off their upcoming album entitled Psychology, which is set to release on July 3rd. “F.U.” features The Hornitz on bass trombone and alto saxophone and is available now on Grooveshark.Psychology is the band's second LP in four years. Electro-funk act Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have announced their first batch of tour dates for their 2015 Winter Tour. The tour includes multiple stops in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic, a returning slot at AURA Music & Arts Festival and 8 shows in Colorado.
The four-piece is set to finish 2014 with shows at The Grog Shop in Cleveland, OH on December 26, Thunderbird Cafe in Pittsburgh, PA on December 27, a Lotus after-party at The Voltage Lounge in Philadelphia, PA on December 28, and an "Alice in One-Hit Wonderland" New Year's Eve Celebration at The Broadberry in Richmond, VA on December 31 with The Shack Band. The band closes out their New Year's run with a two-night stand in their hometown of Baltimore, MD at The 8x10 on January 2-3, 2015.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong has announced a four-day event surrounding Phish's three-night stand at Dicks Sporting Goods Park this Labor Day Weekend. The weekend kicks off with a Phish pre-party featuring Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Spafford at Boulder's Fox Theatre on Thursday September 3rd. Pigeons will host an after-party at the Bluebird Theatre in Denver on Friday September 4th and will perform a special “Under Cover” set with special guests on Saturday September 5th at Fox Theatre.
Fans will have the option of purchasing an all-inclusive “You Enjoy My Dicks” weekend pass that includes tickets to both Fox and Bluebird Theatre shows, buses to and from Phish each night (leaving from Fox Theatre in Boulder), as well as access to special events at Fox Theatre throughout the weekend.
Upslope Brewery will be sponsoring the event all weekend long with $3 beer specials including a Bloody Mary bar each afternoon. Weekend passes will go on sale 4/27 and will be priced at $75 for a limited time.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and The Fox Theatre have announced the schedule of pre-parties and buses for next weekend’s Phish run at Dicks Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado. On Thursday September 3rd Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Spafford will kick the weekend off with a pre-party at the Fox Theatre. The remainder of the weekend the Fox will host pre-parties with happy hour specials and live music before buses depart for Dicks Sporting Goods Park. The band will embark on their two-week run with a number of stops in popular mountain towns including 2 night runs in Telluride and Steamboat Springs. After a groundbreaking 4-night Halloween run this past weekend, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are excited to share their first-string of 2019 tour dates. Included among the newly announced dates are the band's first headlining play in Chicago since 2017 (2/15 at Concord Music Hall); their first run through Florida since 2016 – with stops in Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa Bay and Ft. Lauderdale; and a prompt return to Virginia with plays in Charlottesville (1/30) and Norfolk (1/31). Mungion and The Fritz will join for support on select dates.

Appropriately, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong wore red Sergeant Peppers jackets with custom patches on the back reminiscent of the classic RHCP symbol, completing their outfits with white pants which featured black tribal designs from the RHCP album Blood Sugar Sex Magik.
