The EP also features legendary Cuban singers Omara Portuondo and the late Ibrahim Ferrer of the Buena Vista Social Club.

The project is in support of the environmental charity Artists Project Earth (APE).

All profits generated by APE from the EP will help fund effective projects and initiatives to combat climate change and provide relief from natural disasters. So far, the funds raised have been instrumental in supporting 350 initiatives focused on climate change and disaster relief.

2. RDM feat. Sting: “Fragilidad”

3. RDM feat. Omara Portuondo: “Killing Me Softly”

4. RDM feat. U2: “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”

GRAMMY® Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, guitar legend, producer, and Gov’t Mule front man Warren Haynes has officially revealed the details for his new solo album, Million Voices Whisper, and has shared the first single “This Life As We Know It.” The new song is Warren’s universal message for embracing the positivity of change and looking forward through a new lens – one that starts within. PRESS HERE to listen and PRESS HERE to watch the in-studio performance video featuring behind-the-scenes content from the recording of “This Life As We Know It” at Power Station New England. Million Voices Whisper, produced by Haynes, will be released November 1st digitally and on CD via Fantasy Records, with vinyl shipping on November 15th, marking Warren’s first solo album in almost a decade. A deluxe CD version will also be available including four bonus songs. PRESS HERE to pre-save and pre-order.

“It felt great to go into the studio to capture this material with this new band who are all fantastic players,” shares Haynes. “This album is quite different than my previous solo records. There's a lot of soul music influence but very song oriented with subtle nods to a few of my heroes. And what a treat to get back into the studio with my brother Derek. Big shoutout to him as well as Lukas and Jamey for being a part of it. I'm really proud of this new album.”

Of “This Life As We Know It,” he adds, “It has a very uplifting message and musically, as well, it is just a very positive feeling song. One that I feel we can all relate to. It’s about moving forward and getting past a lot of things but feeling good about life and feeling good about yourself.”

On Million Voices Whisper, the fourth solo album in Warren’s esteemed career catalog, Haynes sounds as energetic and focused as ever, powering through an 11-song set of soulful blues-rock. Accompanying Warren on the collection are members of his current all-star band including John Medeski on keyboards, longtime drummer Terence Higgins (of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band) and Gov’t Mule bassist Kevin Scott. Million Voices Whisper also features guest appearances from his Allman Brothers Band compatriot Derek Trucks, whose unmistakable guitar sound toughs up three tracks on the album that were co-produced with Haynes, and his Last Waltz Tour co-stars Lukas Nelson and Jamey Johnson, who are featured on the forceful “Day of Reckoning.” Joining Haynes in the studio for the first time since the final sunset of the ABB, one of the featured tracks with Trucks on guitar is “Real Real Love,” a song initially co-written with Gregg Allman that Warren finished in Allman’s style and methods as if Gregg were singing it to honor his friend.

Buzzing through the forthcoming album is the question of how to make things better – in love, in life, in the world – led by Haynes’ soaring vocals and the poignancy of his six-string mastery. Million Voices Whisper opens with "These Changes," a co-write with Trucks, leading into “Go Down Swinging,” co-written with Johnson, which features a horn section and a Van Morrison vibe. Then, there’s the soulful power ballad “Till The Sun Comes Shining Through” driven by Warren’s impassioned vocals and slide guitar skills. The expressive pipes of touring backup singer Saundra Williams are also heard on multiple tracks including the new single “This Life As We Know It.” Among the four bonus tracks on the deluxe CD version is a new version of the Trucks-Haynes composition “Back Where I Started” featuring Warren on lead vocals and slide guitar and the power trio of Haynes, Nelson and Johnson covering the CSNY classic “Find The Cost of Freedom” into an extended version of “Day of Reckoning.” Full track listing for Million Voices Whisper below.

Haynes and his band, including Greg Osby on sax, will support the release of Million Voices Whisper with a 16-date fall headlining tour. The Million Voices Whisper Tour kicks off September 19th and stops throughout the east coast before wrapping October 12th. Tickets and specially curated fan packages are available now. Following the band’s tour, Haynes will head to Los Angeles to perform at The Kia Forum on October 17th for the Robbie Robertson “Life Is A Carnival” celebration event. See below for full list of upcoming tour dates and visit www.warrenhaynes.net for more information and to purchase tickets.

Before launching their fall tour, Haynes will resume his Now Is The Time Tour featuring The Warren Haynes Band & The Dreams and Songs Symphonic Experience on September 10th with a special stop at Red Rocks Amphitheatre with the Colorado Symphony. Led by conductor Rich Daniels of Chicago’s City Lights Orchestra, the brand-new show features nearly three hours of music – two full symphonic sets with the orchestra followed by a full set showcasing Haynes’ signature rock/soul blend with just the WHB and background singers Saundra Williams and Mayteana Morales. The Now Is The Time Tour explores all aspects of Warren’s incredible catalog and career, including music from Gov’t Mule, Allman Brothers Band, The Dead, his solo albums, and more, set to new arrangements, and finds Haynes revisiting compositions from the groundbreaking Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration tour.

Fast-rising livetronica trio LVNDR.SOUND have released their new single, “In The Dark,” alongside the announcement that their sophomore album, In The Dark, will be out this October via Perception Records. PRESS HERE to listen to “In The Dark,” a moody dance bop about pulling yourself out of life's darkest moments, reflecting on the hardships that shape us into better versions of ourselves.

Featuring collaborations with Perception Records artists, including Halle Tomlinson and Gordo Flea, In The Dark marks a significant sonic evolution for LVNDR.SOUND. It introduces a more vocal-centric approach and embeds an emotive style of storytelling in their meticulously crafted and immersive sound design.

“‘In the Dark’ was an exciting and nerve-racking experience,” shares LVNDR.SOUND’s Geoff Bremer about the title track. “It’s one of the first times I’d ever sung on a recording, and sitting in that studio trying my best to hit notes was a challenge. One of my favorite parts of the track is its combination of classic electronic elements with acoustic guitar, a live-recorded chorus, and more 'human' sounds. It’s certainly something LVNDR.SOUND aims to do; as we’re all musicians ourselves, infusing a combination of our talents is always a creative priority.”

“In The Dark” follows the release of recent album singles “Never Found” ft. Halle Tomlinson, “You Must Think,” and “All Night” ft. Gordo Flea. These singles explore the transformative power of adversity and the pain that tests us, ultimately leading us to discover what we’re truly capable of. LVNDR.SOUND has received acclaim from EDM Joy, Your EDM, The Nocturnal Times, Grateful Web, The Music Essentials, CULTR, and more.

In The Dark is an album intended to share the perspective of what it’s like to pull yourself out of the darkest moments of your life,” explains LVNDR.SOUND’s Jay Greens about the forthcoming album. “To go through hell and come out the other side stronger, more creative, and more confident than you were before the trauma. Sometimes our pain is what shapes us; the darkest moments of our lives can lead us to our greatest potential.”

Known for their one-of-a-kind sound and signature modern production style, LVNDR.SOUND fuses genres such as future bass, electro-soul, house, hip-hop, and nu-age funk to push the boundaries of genre and create something truly unique. This is evident on their lauded debut album, Lavender, which features collaborations with members of Pretty Lights, Lettuce, and Break Science across standout tracks such as “Talkin’ Bout It,” “Prism,” and “Lights Out.”

As he prepares to release his third full-length studio album, Lifeline, later this month, rising reggae rock singer, songwriter, producer and guitarist Joe Samba has issued one final tease with his new single “Communicate.” The islandy new song epitomizes relationships with your friends as you grow older and the struggle to see each other because of adult life. PRESS HERE to listen to “Communicate,” co-produced by Samba and Anthony Resta (Duran Duran, Collective Soul). Lifeline, out September 27th via LAW Records, also includes the singles “Little Love,” “Meant To Be” with Wax, and “Home” with Mihali. PRESS HERE to pre-save Lifeline on DSPs.

“This song is one for everybody, encouraging people to find healthier ways to communicate,” shares Samba. “I think all of us are on the same page, but struggle reading each other’s paragraphs. I try to make sense of it all in this song.”

Joe Samba has a song for every season. You could drift off into the smoky summer groove of his reggae-infused bangers or jump into spring fueled by the punk rock gallop of his guitar-driven anthems. He’s got the kind of melodies that could warm you back to life in the winter and the chantable hooks you want to celebrate with on a year-end victory lap in the fall. He threads everything together with unfiltered emotion and honest lyrics about life as a father, husband, son, friend, and artist. All of these vibes and more are on full display on Lifeline, which tells the story of various life changes including becoming a dad, moving, touring life and being away from family, friendships, and more. For Lifeline, Samba worked with outside producers for the first time, recording four tunes with Eric Krasno of Soulive (including “Meant To Be” and “Home”) and three with Anthony Resta (Duran Duran, Collective Soul), who also co-produced “Little Love.” The final tracks of the 10-song collection were self-produced by Joe in Maine at the Halo Studio with engineer Kevin Billingslea.

Samba is currently on a West Coast tour with Kyle Smith that kicked off last night in Berkeley, California and continues through this Sunday, September 15th. Then, Joe and his bandmates will travel throughout the Northeast in October for a run of dates supporting Little Stranger, which includes a stop at New York’s Brooklyn Bowl on October 10th as well as in Buffalo, Philadelphia, Boston, and Burlington. See below for full list of upcoming tour dates and visit www.joesamba.com for more information and to purchase tickets.

Following a childhood immersed in music, Joe Samba paid his dues by endlessly gigging around the Northeast. The Massachusetts-born and now New Hampshire-based multi-talent formally introduced himself as an artist via The Wrong Impression in 2019. His independent debut topped the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart, debuting at #1 and gathering millions of streams. He leveled up on his 2022 sophomore album Far From Forever (LAW Records), with the album’s singles “Create Something,” “Boomer Economy” and “Beef” also amassing millions of streams. Along the way, Samba has toured or played alongside everyone from The Dirty Heads, Ziggy Marley and Pepper to Shwayze and Sublime With Rome, performed at such festivals as Summer Camp Music Festival, Cali Vibes, Reggae Rise Up, and Cali Roots Festival, and earned media acclaim for his energetic live show, with The Pier praising, “There’s something unique about Joe.”

Last night, Last Prisoner Project (LPP) brought together some of the most impactful gamechangers in the cannabis criminal justice movement to celebrate the org’s 5-Year Anniversary during its inaugural Journey to Justice Gala.

Taking place at Sony Hall in New York City, the night celebrated the impacted heroes of the cannabis industry, and all proceeds from the gala support LPP’s legal, policy and reentry services to ensure the longevity and sustainability of these programs. Each gala table was named after an LPP constituent, and each guest at that table was provided with badge sharing the story of the person their table represented. QR codes directed attendees to LPP’s reentry and family grant programs as well as a platform to make donations to the general commissary funds of those still imprisoned.

Following a cocktail hour that included a performance by Chris Johnson’s String Quartet and several hands-on activations including letter-writing to a cannabis prisoner, audio stories from those currently incarcerated and petitions to sign urging President Biden and Governors to grant cannabis clemency. Last Prisoner Project’s Director of Advocacy, Stephanie Shepard, welcomed guests and spoke about her deep personal relationship to the organization and the fight for justice. “I was convicted in New York so it’s full circle to be here supporting this cause, when I was supported by so many people in this room,” said Stephanie Shepard.

Last Prisoner Project’s Executive Director and Co-Founding Member Sarah Gersten introduced multinational law firm Goodwin, whose partnership with LPP is part of the Cannabis Justice Initiative (CJI) – provides pro bono legal representation to individuals incarcerated under unduly harsh cannabis laws nationwide. “I’m so proud to say that our CJI has represented over 300 clients and reduced over 100 years of prison time for our constituents. We’ve granted relief to people who would have died in prison. Many of whom are here tonight,” said Gersten. One of those individuals is Andy Cox, who was serving a life sentence for cannabis, and was released early as part of CJI. In a moving speech, Cox said “If it weren’t for LPP and Goodwin, I would still be sitting in a dark and lonely federal prison cell. I was sentenced to life, and today I’m overly grateful to those who helped me reclaim my life.”

NFL hall of famer for the Detroit Lions, Calvin “Megatron” Johnson, introduced fellow Michigander Michael Thompson, who spent more than two decades behind bars for a nonviolent cannabis sale, and was granted clemency in 2021 by Governor Gretchen Whitmer following national support from Last Prisoner Project as well as notable celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Chelsea Handler, Shaun King and many more. “Thank you to the Last Prisoner Project for supporting me and honoring me tonight,” said Thompson. “They are true fighters. All you gotta do is care, all you gotta do is care.”

LPP’s Managing Director and Co-Founding Member Mary Bailey took to the stage to  honor LPP constituent Richard DeLisi, who was one of the longest-serving nonviolent cannabis prisoners in United States history, serving 32 years. LPP played a pivotal role in DeLisi’s 2020 release and since then, the DeLisi family has impacted individuals across the globe through their cannabis brand, DeLisioso, shining a much-needed light on family members affected by the incarceration of their loved ones and contributing resources required to free nonviolent cannabis prisoners around the world. A portion of the proceeds raised by Delisioso have been generously donated to LPP and other orgs to benefit cannabis prisoners and the efforts to release them. “I will never forget the feeling of watching a family reunite after 32 years. It’s such an honor for me to be a champion and a cheerleader for these individuals and to know that strangers around the world are helping them too,” said Bailey.

The premier sponsor for the event was HBI International, established independent and international producers of the RAW® brand of plant-based rolling papers and innovative smoking accessories. In total, RAW has contributed $200,000 to LPP’s reentry grant program which has generated profound impacts on individuals who have recently been released from incarceration on cannabis-related charges.

A seasonal fare of braised short ribs, pecorino and pear stuffed chicken and vegetable ragu were served before Maryland Governor Wes Moore joined via video to offer a few words on the impact of Last Prisoner Project’s Pen to Right History campaign which challenges other governors and leaders across the country to use this pen, just as he did, to sign executive cannabis clemency orders in their own states.

JoJo Simmons (entertainer, entrepreneur and son of the legendary rapper Rev Run of Run DMC) presented Richeda Sinclair with an award for the work she’s done advocating for the release of her father, Ricardo Ashmeade, who is serving a mandatory 22-year minimum prison sentence. As the face of the Pen to Right History campaign, Richeda is using her voice to advocate for her father and all of the individuals who are serving life sentences in federal prisons nationwide for a plant that’s being legalized and decriminalized all over the country. Following Richeda’s recognition, she received a surprise, prison voice recording from her father who praised her hard work, perseverance, spirit and determination. Richeda hopes that President Biden will grant her father clemency so that he can attend her law school graduation next year after missing so many other milestone moments in her life.

Last Prisoner Project Advocacy Associate Donte West generated a particularly powerful moment while honoring his prison bunkmate Kyle Page, whose journey from incarceration to advocacy is a story of resilience and transformation. Both Donte and Kyle are embodying the fight for freedom and justice by using their voices and experiences to inspire and mobilize others which includes advocating for the release of those who were incarcerated with them including Antonio Wyatt and Deshaun Durham.

The evening’s programming came to a close with a lively paddle raise, led by the night’s emcee, comedian Guy Torry, followed by one of the biggest surprises of the night when Fab 5 Freddy introduced Damian & Stephen Marley who took to the stage to perform an unforgettable, acoustic medley of songs including “Medication” and a tribute to their father, Bob Marley, with “Get Up, Stand Up.” By the end of their performance, everyone was on their feet for LPP Board Member Mutulu “M-1” Olugbala & Umi of dead prez who performed their hit song “Hip-Hop.” Keith Shocklee of legendary hip-hop group Public Enemy brought the successful gala to a close with an epic DJ set that had guests dancing into the night – the perfect end to a remarkable, powerful celebration of the Last Prisoner Project’s five years of impactful work.

Among the hundreds of LPP supporters to attend were Kevin Ogletree, Eddie Osefo, Ben Cohen, Brett Heyman, Joseph “Champelli” Rutherford, Vlad Bautista and many more. Those who couldn’t attend the event can still join the fight to advance the work of LPP by visiting www.lastprisonerproject.org and by getting involved in on-going initiatives such as the #Countdown4Clemency Campaign which creates urgency for President Biden to free people incarcerated for cannabis before the end of his term. Critically-acclaimed livetronica trio LVNDR.SOUND have released their sophomore album, In The Dark, via Perception Records. PRESS HERE to stream / download. Marking a significant sonic evolution for the band, In The Dark showcases LVNDR.SOUND’s most accomplished work to date, embedding an emotive style of storytelling into their meticulous, immersive sound design to explore the transformative power of adversity.

Preoccupied with the pain that both tests us and leads us to discover what we’re truly capable of, In The Dark finds LVNDR.SOUND retrospectively reflecting on the feat of freeing yourself of the all-consuming feeling of darkness that accompanies immense struggle while introducing a more vocal centric approach to their sound and exploring a landscape of future bass, electro soul, house, hip hop, and nu-age funk.

“In The Dark is an album intended to share the perspective of what it's like to pull yourself out of the darkest moments of your life,” shares LVNDR.SOUND’s Jay Greens. “To go through hell and come out the other side stronger, more creative, and confident than you were before the trauma. Sometimes our pain is what shapes us; the darkest moments of our lives can lead us to our true greatest potential."

In tandem with the self-produced and self-engineered release, LVNDR.SOUND have also shared their bittersweet new single “Nostalgic Nights,” a hazy, atmospheric banger that draws inspiration from legends such as Daft Punk and Chromeo, and fuses electronic sensibilities with Nile Rodgers-style funk guitar to recall the days of youth when life seemed easier and muse on the lengths we all go to in order to escape, rather than confront, our reality. PRESS HERE to listen to the single.

The 11-track collection includes LVNDR.SOUND’s recent single and title track "In The Dark,” a moody dance bop which confronts life's darkest moments to reflect on the hardships which shape us into better versions of ourselves. In The Dark is also highlighted by the lead single “You Must Think,” a chill house track and playful nod to idea that sometimes, to pursue our passions, we have to embrace a bit of craziness, the pensive “Never Found” featuring Halle Tomlinson that speaks to the reality that, even when we move on and heal, the pain leaves an imprint on our souls, and the banger “All Night,” which fuses hip-hop and EDM with special guest Gordo Flea in a testament to the power of creative partnership and creating something greater than the sum of its parts.

Known for their one-of-a-kind sound and signature modern production style and featuring the talents of Josh Fairman (Sunsquabi), Jay.Greens (Perception Records), and Geoffrey Bremer, LVNDR.SOUND have earned acclaim from EDM Joy, Your EDM, The Nocturnal Times, Grateful Web, The Music Essentials, CULTR, and more for pushing the boundaries of genre. Establishing themselves as one to watch with their lauded debut album Lavender, which includes collaborations from members of Pretty Lights, Lettuce, and Break Science across standout tracks such as “Talkin’ Bout It,” “Prism,” and “Lights Out,” LVNDR.SOUND is creating music that is truly unique.

Harnessing the powerhouse talents of Adam Deitch (Lettuce, Break Science, Pretty Lights), Josh Fairman (Sunsquabi, Analog Son), and Ian Gilley (DIASTRATA, Flamingosis Live Band), supergroup Nitecap have released their new single “Things Of That Nature.” PRESS HERE to listen. “Things Of That Nature” features an upbeat combination of cutting-edge, funk-laced synths, warm bass, and rhythmic drums and marks the second track off Nitecap’s debut album, out early 2025 via Perception Records.

“The combination of Ian Gilley's cutting-edge synth sounds and compositions with Josh Fairman's low-end bass playing and engineering wizardry perfectly complement Deitch's style of funky, J Dilla inspired drumming,” shares Deitch on the new single. “It all creates a unique, warm analog sound that is sure to get heads bobbing and music lovers listening on repeat.”

“Things Of That Nature” follows the recent release of the Denver-based trio’s debut single “Plátanos,” which fuses modern, synth-drenched neosoul with R&B sensibilities and a hint of jazz-funk to create the unique and timeless sound that Nitecap is quickly becoming known for.

A product of the pandemic, their forthcoming album stands as a testament to resilience and the tenacity of the human spirit. “It just shows that something horrible can give birth to something beautiful,” says Fairman. “This project was born in my basement. We all actually had time on our hands for the first time in years,” he adds of Nitecap’s formation. “So, what better way to spend that time than making music with your best friends? We spent many sessions just drinking wine, playing, talking, and sharing ideas. Soon it turned into a full-fledged band.”

Despite being a new group, Nitecap made their live debut in 2022 at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, have performed as part of KUVO’s Jazz Odyssey Presents series, Denver’s long-standing, prestigious jazz station, and have no shortage of accolades. Adam Deitch (drums) is a four-time GRAMMY-nominated drummer, songwriter, and producer best known for his work in funk band Lettuce, EDM/live hybrid group Break Science, and his long tenures with historic artists and bands like Average White Band, John Scofield, Wyclef Jean, and Pretty Lights. Ian Gilley (keys) has made waves with his longtime duo project DIASTRATA, which has played at prestigious venues around the country, and as the keyboardist for both Midnight.Blue and the Flamingosis Live Band. Multifaceted musician and producer Joshua Fairman (bass, engineer) is quickly becoming a household name as both a bassist and engineer known for his work touring with his band Sunsquabi and his innovative production techniques.

Today, GRAMMY® Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, guitar legend, producer, and Gov’t Mule front man Warren Haynes has released his new solo album, Million Voices Whisper, via Fantasy Records. PRESS HERE to listen. Million Voices Whisper, Warren’s first solo album in almost a decade and fourth solo collection in his esteemed career catalog, was recorded at Power Station New England and produced by Haynes. The 11-song set of soulful blues-rock includes the lead single “This Life As We Know It,” which recently reached Top 15 on the Americana singles chart and Top 40 at Triple A radio, and the previously released single “Day of Reckoning” featuring Lukas Nelson and Jamey Johnson. Million Voices Whisper also features guest appearances from Haynes’s Allman Brothers Band compatriot Derek Trucks on multiple tracks including “Real Real Love,” a song whose lyrics were initially started by Gregg Allman that Haynes finished to honor his friend. PRESS HERE to watch a behind-the-song video from Warren and Derek for “Real Real Love.” Million Voices Whisper is out now digitally and on CD with a deluxe CD version also available including four bonus songs. Vinyl will ship on November 15th. PRESS HERE to order.

“This album is unlike any of my previous solo records, but also humbly honors a lot of my musical roots,” shares Haynes. “It’s an interesting combination of soul music, blues, rock, and my singer/songwriter side – hopefully something for everyone. I also did a lot of soul searching while writing the lyrics and found great appreciation in my life, so these songs mostly have a more positive attitude. We’ve all been through so much over the last few years. At times like these I feel it's important to look around you and within you and see the light instead of the darkness. Being in the studio with this new band of exceptional players, as well as my brothers Derek, Lukas, and Jamey, added to the joy and positivity surrounding the music. I’m really proud of this new album and hope it translates to the listener.”

Of “Real Real Love,” Haynes says, “This was a song that was started but never finished by Gregg Allman. He had showed it to me and we had talked about it, and I completed it after he died. I finished it in a way that’s reflective of the way Gregg wrote and then invited Derek Trucks to be part of the recording process, which really took it to the desired next level. I wanted to write it as if Gregg were singing it. Even in the way we approach the song as a band, and in the way I approach it as a singer, I had his presence in mind the entire time.”

Trucks adds, “I remember Warren calling me saying he had this lyric that he was working on with Gregg before he passed. Immediately that’s intriguing and feels like something you have to finish, and he wanted me to be part of it.  The way we went about recording it with Warren singing and me playing fills immediately made me think about Duane and Gregg doing ‘Please Call Home’ and that feeling, so that is where my head was thinking about that and those guys.”

On Million Voices Whisper, Haynes sounds as energetic and focused as ever. Accompanying Warren are members of his current all-star band including John Medeski on keyboards, longtime drummer Terence Higgins (of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band), and Gov’t Mule bassist Kevin Scott. In addition to reuniting with his Last Waltz Tour co-stars Nelson and Johnson, the guest appearances from Trucks mark the first time the two longtime friends and former bandmates have been in the studio together since the final sunset of the ABB.

Buzzing throughout Million Voices Whisper is the question of how to make things better – in love, in life, in the world – led by Haynes’ soaring vocals and the poignancy of his six-string mastery on full display. The album opens with "These Changes," a co-write with Trucks, leading into “Go Down Swinging,” co-written with Johnson, which features a horn section and a Van Morrison vibe. There’s the soulful power ballad “Till The Sun Comes Shining Through” driven by Warren’s impassioned vocals and slide guitar skills. The expressive pipes of touring backup singer Saundra Williams are also heard on multiple tracks including “This Life As We Know It,” Warren’s universal message for embracing the positivity of change and looking forward through a new lens – one that starts within. “Day of Reckoning,” co-written with Nelson, is a forceful call for change nodding to the rebellious late ‘60s and early ‘70s. The track’s lyrics also supply the album’s title: “Million voices whisper, getting louder when they sing / Million spirits waiting on a day of reckoning.” Among the four bonus tracks on the deluxe CD version is a new version of the Trucks-Haynes composition “Back Where I Started” featuring Warren on lead vocals and slide guitar and the power trio of Haynes, Nelson and Johnson covering the CSNY classic “Find The Cost of Freedom” into an extended version of “Day of Reckoning.” Full track listing for Million Voices Whisper below.

PRESS HERE to watch “Warren Haynes – Live From The Power Station” featuring stripped-down, in-studio performances of a selection of new songs from Million Voices Whisper including “From Here On Out” and “Back Where I Started” as well as “Real Real Love” and a cover of Tammy Wynette’s “Till I Can Make It On My Own.”

Warren will celebrate the release of Million Voices Whisper tomorrow, Saturday, November 2nd, with a special in-store performance and signing at Looney Tunes Record Store in West Babylon, NY. The event will be livestreamed on Facebook. PRESS HERE for more information on how to attend.

Following the release of their brilliant third studio album, Waving From A Sea, Michigan Rattlers will return to the road this winter for an intimate set of club dates kicking off in Columbus, OH on February 12 with 40+ stops in major markets including Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Austin, New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Nashville, Boston and more. Tickets are on-sale now – PRESS HERE for more information.

On their pivotal new Dominic John Davis produced record (Jack White, Willie Nelson, Greensky Bluegrass), the Petoskey, Michigan-based rock & roll band with a blend of folk, American and country influences, pairs the heavy hitting lyricism they’re known for with a newfound sonic depth, evolving alongside the characters in their songs. Waving From A Sea reckons with the heartbreaking reality of becoming old enough to know that your dreams might not come true in the ways you thought they would. It’s about making the journey from adolescence into adulthood and fighting to find a place in the world.

Released this past summer, it’s the band’s most immersive album to date, and standout singles such as “Heaven” and “Gridlock (Just The Sky)” sit at the perfect intersection of The War on Drugs and Bruce Springsteen.

“These songs are revelations of sorts,” said the band’s frontman Graham Young. “They’re waking up. They’re growing up. They’re facing up to the day and not being beat down by it. They’re realizations. I’m not afraid anymore. I’ve been afraid. Look where it got me. It led me down dark roads that had no end. These songs turn around and walk back toward the light. Heaven is here. Heaven is right now. Heaven is presence. Heaven is a soft cheek. It’s a walk along the river. It’s a city at night. Heaven is a kiss from a lover. And when this is over the trees will grow, the flowers will bloom, the seasons will change and we’ll have moved headstrong into the light. And I’ll be thinking of you. And me. And all that I used to be. And remember your old house? Just on the other side of the corn field. We’d lie in the grass and stare up at the stars and drink a few High Lifes and take nips from a pint of whiskey. And we’d sprint around the house as fast we could. The houselights and trees blurring around us. And we’d come tumbling back down into the grass. Struggling to catch our breath and smiling and laughing and not thinking about tomorrow or yesterday. We got so close to one another. And maybe if I hadn’t been so caught up in lassoing a fleeting life and maybe if you hadn’t felt the need to reinvent yourself every time the line slacked a little. Maybe if. But to wonder maybe if is heaven. Remembering is heaven. And then I locked myself up. In the deep nostalgia that covered everything in formaldehyde.”

Electro soul supergroup Nitecap have released their hopeful new single “Love and Light” featuring GRAMMY-winning artist and vocalist Nigel Hall (Lettuce, Jon Cleary, Dr, Klaw) from their upcoming debut album, out early 2025 via Perception Records. PRESS HERE to listen. Arriving with a message that is more important now than ever, “Love and Light” speaks to our collective, often-untapped power to make the world a better place if we band together and channels transformative, relentless optimism through Hall’s lens as a Black man living in an unjust world.

“Love and light will always lead the way, if we lead with it,” shares Hall on the impetus for the collaboration.

“‘Love and Light’ is really a meaningful song for me, it captures a vibe and a message that's more important than ever, especially in the climate that the United States is in right now,” continues Nitecap’s Josh Fairman. “Division is running rampant, and it's up to us, the people, to come together to make the world we want to see. It's hard to be positive in lieu of all the darkness we see. Hopefully this song can be a little bit of that light that leads the way.”

“This song is a reflection of the conversations we’ve had about the world and our combined worldview, Nigel’s lens as a Black man living in a world that still is unjust and cruel almost 40 years after MLK’s assassination, and my relentless optimism,” adds lyricist Andriu Yanovski. “I’ve gotten to know him well as a musician and as a friend and his perspective on life combined with his insane singing abilities leave a huge canvas for writing.”

Harnessing the powerhouse talents of four-time GRAMMY-nominated artist Adam Deitch (Lettuce, Break Science, Pretty Lights), Josh Fairman (Sunsquabi, Analog Son), and Ian Gilley and Drew Birch (both of Diastrata, Flamingosis Live Band), Nitecap recently released “Things Of That Nature,” an upbeat combination of cutting-edge, funk-laced synths, warm bass, and rhythmic drums, and their debut single “Plátanos,” which fuses modern, synth-drenched neosoul with R&B sensibilities and a hint of jazz-funk to create the unique and timeless sound that they’re quickly becoming known for. A product of the pandemic, Nitecap’s forthcoming album stands as a testament to resilience and the tenacity of the human spirit.

Ian Gilley (keys) and Drew Birch (guitar) have made waves with their longtime duo project Diastrata, which has played at prestigious venues around the country, and as instrumentalists for the Flamingosis Live Band. Gilley has also garnered acclaim as the keyboardist for Midnight.Blue. Multifaceted musician and producer Joshua Fairman (bass, engineer) is quickly becoming a household name as both a bassist and engineer known for his work touring with his band Sunsquabi and his innovative production techniques.

Today, Deshaun T. Durham, a 24-year-old Kansas resident sentenced to 92 months in prison for a first-time cannabis offense, was released from Hutchinson Correctional Facility. This commutation by Governor Laura Kelly is a rare decision to overturn the Kansas Prison Review Board’s rejection of Durham’s clemency application and bring him home for the holidays. After almost 3 years of incarceration and tireless advocacy from the Last Prisoner Project, Deshaun is now free.

Upon his release this morning, Deshaun said, “You know, it is kind of unexpected. This is the best month of my life right here. Today is a big victory in the barbaric and senseless war on a scientifically-proven medicinal plant, cannabis.”

Now reunited with her son, Brandi Davis, who tirelessly advocated for her son’s release said, "Today is the day I’ve prayed for since the moment Deshaun was taken from us. Seeing my son walk out of those prison gates is the best gift I could dream of. I want to thank Governor Kelly for her compassion and the Last Prisoner Project for their unwavering support in bringing Deshaun home. No family should have to endure the pain of losing a loved one to an unjust system. This holiday season, our family is whole again, and I hope other governors and the President will follow Gov. Kelly’s lead. All it takes is the stroke of a pen to right history.”

Standing alongside Deshaun and his family were Last Prisoner Project’s Donte West, a Kansas cannabis exoneree and advocacy associate, and former U.S. Attorney Barry R. Grissom, who served as Deshaun’s attorney. In his role with Last Prisoner Project, West has helped raise awareness for people like Durham, who face disproportionately severe sentences for cannabis-related offenses. Meanwhile, Grissom has been fighting for cannabis legalization at the state level with the Kansas Cannabis Coalition while he helps fight cases like Deshaun’s in court through his pro bono efforts with LPP.

“The greatest gift you can give anyone is freedom,” said Donte West. “Governor Kelly’s clemency reflects her recognition that people like Deshaun don’t belong behind bars for unjust cannabis charges."

“We want to thank Gov. Kelly for her courage and wisdom in granting Deshaun a second chance. Unfortunately, Deshaun’s plight is nothing new in Kansas as long as our legislators hold to outdated beliefs related to cannabis,” said Barry Grissom. “It’s time for Kansas to follow the lead of our sister states at administering good public policies which don't criminalize the possession, use and production of a product that should be highly regulated and taxed just like alcohol. To fail to do otherwise means taxpayer dollars are wasted on investigation, interdiction, prosecution and incarceration of individuals, thereby depriving law enforcement from utilizing those funds for more meaningful law enforcement measures to keep us safe in our communities.”

When commuting his sentence, Governor Laura Kelly said “Granting commutations and pardons is not something I take lightly. By vetting numerous applications through a careful and thorough process, it was determined that these individuals have demonstrated their commitment to making amends and positively contributing to society. In cases where a disproportionally harsh sentence is imposed or a miscarriage of justice exists, commutation can be a tool to ensure reasonable action and a fairer sentence. In extraordinary cases where the criminal justice system failed to account for mitigating factors surrounding an individual’s alleged crime throughout the legal process, including sentencing, commutations can give a second chance to individuals experiencing incomprehensible circumstances at the time of their offense.”

LPP is grateful for all those who championed Deshaun’s case, especially musician and advocate Melissa Etheridge, who sent a personal appeal to the Governor on Deshaun’s behalf earlier this year. "I’m overjoyed to hear that Deshaun Durham is going home to his family this week," said Melissa Etheridge. "Huge gratitude to Kansas Governor Laura Kelly for her wisdom and care in recognizing the disproportionate nature of Deshaun’s sentence, and granting him a commutation. This kind of advocacy by the Last Prisoner Project is why I’m so proud to be one of their Ambassadors."

LPP commends Gov. Kelly’s commitment to justice. By advancing commonsense clemency actions like her commutations of Deshaun Durham and Joseph Agrillo in 2021, Gov. Kelly is setting an example for other governors, even in a state with no medical or adult-use cannabis legalization policy. LPP looks forward to working with her administration to continue to fight for all those who have been impacted by the harms of cannabis criminalization in Kansas. Tell your governor to follow Gov. Kelly’s lead by sending a letter today!

DISPATCH and summer are synonymous, and the celebrated folk-rock band is looking forward to a return to the road on their just-announced Summer Tour 2025 alongside John Butler (with band) and special guests G. Love & Special Sauce, Donavon Frankenreiter and Illiterate Light on select dates. The mammoth 35-date outing kicks off June 3 in St. Augustine Florida and will make stops in major markets including Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco and more (full routing can be found below). An artist presale will be available this coming Monday, February 3 with the general on-sale to follow Friday, February 7. PRESS HERE for more information.

The band just released their new single, “Yellow Jacket,” a sentimental track about frontman Chadwick Stokes’ upbringing on the farm – and all of the antics he and his brothers would get into. “We would roller skate all around the farm,” said Stokes. “One time my brother Benny was snooping around the sheep shed in mom’s skates and rolled right into a nest of yellow jackets. Since he was in skates that were 7 sizes too big, he couldn’t get away.” The reflective lyrics are coupled with a sound that harkens back to early DISPATCH with an infectious blend of reggae and roots rock.

Of the tour Brad Corrigan adds, “We are STOKED to hit the road this summer with our bud John Butler and his band, and to have G. Love & Special Sauce, Donavon Frankenreiter and Illiterate Light on the tour too!! Going to be an epic lineup every night, and we can’t wait for all the energy and good vibes…”

DISPATCH – formed by Chadwick Stokes and Brad Corrigan while in college in Vermont – have forged their own path outside the mainstream music industry as one of independent rock’s most indelible acts over the last two-and-a-half decades. Over the course of a slew of acclaimed studio and live albums and countless tours and festivals, the band has gone on to become one of biggest success stories in music history without any traditional radio or major label support. The five piece continues to grow and push their boundaries, taking surprise turns without ever abandoning the signature sound. Throughout their rise, DISPATCH has taken every opportunity to use their success for good, launching charitable organizations to fight poverty and mass incarceration, raising funds and awareness for environmental causes, schools and hospitals on the road, and even traveling as far afield as Nicaragua and Zimbabwe to work with children and communities in need.

March 2020 was memorable for many reasons, but for thousands of concertgoers in New York City one special night still stands out: March 10th when The Brothers took the stage at Madison Square Garden to celebrate the legacy of The Allman Brothers Band. Five years later, The Brothers have announced their long-awaited return to the famed arena for Tuesday, April 15th and Wednesday, April 16th. The Brothers – Jaimoe (drums, founding member), Warren Haynes (guitars, vocals), Derek Trucks (guitars), Oteil Burbridge (bass), and Marc Quiñones (percussion) — will be joined by Joe Russo (drums), Reese Wynans (keys), Isaac Eady (drums) and special guest Chuck Leavell (piano) at this spring's shows.

Pre-sale tickets for The Brothers at Madison Square Garden, produced by Live Nation, will be available starting Wednesday, February 12th at 10am Eastern Time. Fans need to visit www.thebrothersmsg.com in advance to register to purchase pre-sale tickets to either or both shows. There will be a limit of 8 tickets per show. The public on sale will commence on Friday, February 14th at 10am Eastern Time.

“The chance to play at The Garden with my friends again - FAR OUT man!” shares Jaimoe. “I'll see you in April!!”

The Brothers will bring a whole new show to this year’s run. The band will dive into the acclaimed Allman Brothers Band repertoire delivering hits and rarities from their decades-long career, while also showcasing the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees’ continued influence and legacy, more than ten years after their official final bow. The impetus for The Brothers return in 2025 was solidified at the SOULSHINE hurricane benefit at Madison Square Garden in November when Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks delivered a mesmerizing performance of the Allman’s classic “Whipping Post.” After being on stage at the event, the duo realized they needed to play this music again in the world’s most famous arena with their brothers Jaimoe, Oteil and Marc

Last week, celebrated folk-rock band DISPATCH announced their Summer Tour 2025 alongside John Butler (with band) + special guests G. Love & Special Sauce, Donavon Frankenreiter and Illiterate Light on select dates. The mammoth 35-date outing is on sale now - PRESS HERE for tickets and more information. The tour kicks off June 3 in St. Augustine, Florida, and will make stops in major markets including Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco and more (full routing can be found below).

The band is celebrating tour launch with the surprise release of “Trinket” (ft. John Butler) – a dynamic, genre-blending track that features buoyant guitar riffs and lush, layered vocal harmonies. John Butler’s signature guitar work combined with the subtle use of synths and that driving DISPATCH energy creates the perfect hypnotic jam – PRESS HERE to listen.

“I was reading an illustrated book of poems by Emily Dickinson that we got at the West Tisbury School used book sale on Martha’s Vineyard,” said Chadwick Stokes. “I was struck by her poem about Autumn - it fit well with this simple riff and reggae song we were messing around with. Before I read the poem - the chorus of the song was ‘stoop so low’ but that’s all I had. The song had a built-in solo section which is kind of rare for us ... but it made it a candidate as far as asking John to join us on the tune. We’ve always loved John’s Weissenborn guitar playing and wanted to emulate the British blues players who played on The Wailers’ Catch a Fire. John’s been a good friend for so long, so it was a great opportunity to make it happen.”

The band also recently released their new single, “Yellow Jacket,” a sentimental track about Stokes’ upbringing on the farm and all of the antics he and his brothers would get into. The reflective lyrics are coupled with a sound that harkens back to early DISPATCH and their infectious blend of reggae and roots rock. PRESS HERE to listen, and stay tuned for more announcements in the coming weeks.

To support the release of their brilliant third studio album, Waving From A Sea, Michigan Rattlers kicked off their mammoth Waving From A Sea Tour in Columbus, OH. With 40+ stops in major markets including Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Austin, New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Nashville, Boston and more, this intimate set of club dates is one you won’t want to miss. Tickets are on-sale now – PRESS HERE for more information, and the full routing can be found below.

In tandem with today’s tour kickoff, the band has also released a live video for their single “Lilacs Bloom.” Shot at The Treehouse in Nashville, this stripped-down rendition amplifies the song’s sincerity – taking listeners on a journey that lingers long after the last note fades. The haunting chorus is mesmerizing over a delicate blend of piano and guitar as frontman Graham Young explores the passage of time, the weight of nostalgia, and the search for meaning—a theme echoed beautifully throughout the entirety of the band’s new album. PRESS HERE to watch.

On Waving From A Sea, the bands pivotal Dominic John Davis produced record (Jack White, Willie Nelson, Greensky Bluegrass), the Petoskey, Michigan-based rock & roll group with a blend of folk, Americana and country influences, pairs the heavy hitting lyricism they’re known for with a newfound sonic depth, evolving alongside the characters in their songs. Waving From A Sea reckons with the heartbreaking reality of becoming old enough to know that your dreams might not come true in the ways you thought they would. It’s about making the journey from adolescence into adulthood and fighting to find a place in the world. It’s their most immersive album to date, and standout singles such as “Heaven” and “Gridlock (Just The Sky)” sit at the perfect intersection of The War on Drugs and Bruce Springsteen.

Tue, 03/04/2025 - 12:09 pm

Last night, the 38th Annual Tibet House US Benefit Concert brought an evening of moving performances to New York’s Carnegie Hall by an eclectic lineup of artists that included Laurie Anderson, Patti Smith, Jackson Browne, Michal Stipe, Orville Peck, Arooj Aftab, Allison Russell, Tune-Yards, Angélique Kidjo, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Gogol Bordello, Gina Gershon, The Philip Glass Ensemble, Tenzin Choegyal, Sexmob, The Scorchio Quartet, Jesse Paris Smith, Rebecca Foon and an incredible house band that included Tony Shanahan, Brian Griffin, Erik Della Penna and Andy York. The evening’s co-artistic directors and curators were Philip Glass and Laurie Anderson.

Each year, what makes the annual Tibet House Benefit Concert so memorable and special are the extraordinary one-night-only performances and collaborations. The evening had countless standout moments as the artists celebrated the Year of the Wood Snake. Kicking off the night with their resonant chants, the Tibetan Monks performed to an entranced audience before welcoming the renowned Philip Glass Ensemble who played “Koyaanisqatsi” before throwing the thunderous applause to Philip Glass, who was seated in a box over the audience. Welcoming the audience, Tibet House President Bob Thurman shared his gratitude for the evening’s co-artistic directors and the Tibetan people while impressing the importance of holding on to humanity in tough times. Arooj Aftab took to the stage for a haunting performance of “Raat Ki Rani” before mesmerizing the audience with a hopeful rendition of “Mohabbat.” Keeping the applause going and dedicating his performance to both the children of Tibet as well as the stifled writers, poets, and musicians who are routinely jailed for expressing Tibetan pride, Tenzin Choegyal had the audience sing with him as he performed “GangeRi Rawe,” a song from his unreleased, forthcoming album Be The Sky, backed by the strings of 2024 GRAMMY winners’ Scorchio Quartet and a choir of Tibetan children making their Carnegie Hall debut.

Next up, Patti Smith treated the audience to an impassioned reading of Allen Ginsberg’s “Howl,” underscoring the importance of celebrating those who fall outside what is considered the mainstream, before launching into a performance of “Peaceable Kingdom” with the help of Rebecca Foon on cello, Tony Shanahan on guitar, and daughter Jesse Paris Smith on piano. She dedicated her performance to activist Rachel Corrie and all the children who have lost their lives to war, and finished the song with a spoken word section from “People Have The Power.” Keeping the party going, Tune-Yards dialed up the funk with their songs “How Big Is the Rainbow?” and “Limelight,” shimmying around the stage and getting people moving in their seats with backing vocals from the self-dubbed “Yard Birdies” which included Gina Gershon, Allison Russell and Laurie Anderson.

Diving into a powerful performance of “Dead of Night,” a tortured torch song from his debut album Pony, Orville Peck treated the audience to a mesmerizing cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Chelsea Hotel #2,” a song he had always wanted to perform. Bringing out Allison Russell to join him on stage for a duet of “Chemical Sunset,” a song which they had only performed live together once before, Orville picked up the energy to turn Carnegie Hall into a smoky rodeo dive bar before exiting. Keeping the energy high, Allison Russell performed an emotional rendition of her Birds of Chicago song “Superlover,” changing the lyrics to the song to call out DC in a poignant political statement, before organically inciting the audience to clap along with her to “Rag Child.”

Opening a more Avante Garde section of the evening, Ebon Moss-Bachrach read Allen Ginsberg’s “Wales Visitation,” a poem about a profound reverence for nature, over delicate strings from the Scorchio Quartet before Laurie Anderson whisked the audience away with “Junior Dad” – an introspective, immersive soundscape which she performed alongside jazz collective Sexmob and Martha Mooke. Joining Anderson on stage, Michael Stipe read “Desiderata” – a poem by Max Ehrmann that is almost a hundred years old and encourages people to be gentle with themselves. Laurie Anderson softly echoed Stipe’s words as he read before leaving the stage so the R.E.M. frontman could perform David Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold The World” before being joined by Tenzin Choegyal for “No Time for Love Like Now” and thunderous applause from the audience.

Taking the stage to a throng of excitement, Jackson Browne enveloped the hall with his poignant performance of “Don’t You Want To Be There” and “Far From The Arms of Hunger” before handing off the microphone to Angélique Kidjo, who immediately told the audience she was going to put them to work. Leading the audience in an energetic chant which became the foundation throughout the entire song as she belted the lead. Then, the entire hall celebrated our shared humanity with “Afirika” getting them up on their feet with many crowding to the front of the stage to dance with her. Following a joyful standing ovation, Angélique Kidjo left the stage and Laurie Anderson shared her three rules to live by when there isn’t enough time to think – don't be afraid of anyone, get a really good bullshit detector, and be really tender – before introducing Gogol Bordello who turned the hall upside down. Drawing a pertinent comparison between the plight of Ukraine and the injustices in Tibet, they catapulted into “Solidarity” and a rock show that shook the walls and the floor of Carnegie Hall. Joined by Gina Gershon on the jaw harp, Gogol Bordello went straight into “We Mean It, Man” with lead vocalist Eugene Hütz rocking out so hard he knocked over a mic stand before being joined by the entire company and leading them in a showstopping finale of Patti Smith’s famed anthem “People Have The Power.” Uma Thurman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Arden Wohl and Jonah Freeman served as the evening’s honorary chairs.

The festivities continued late into the night as the performing artists, VIPs, and Tibet House supporters including Chloë Sevigny and more enjoyed the elegant post-concert gala at Ziegfeld Ballroom – a perfect end to one of the longest-running and most acclaimed live cultural events in New York City. Proceeds support the work of Tibet House US as they forge ahead with their mission to protect, preserve, and empower the unique Tibetan culture.

Throughout its rich history, the Tibet House US Benefit Concert has had hundreds of world-class artists participate, including boygenius, Alabama Shakes, Phoebe Bridgers, Carly Simon, David Bowie, Stephen Colbert, Lou Reed, Sharon Jones, FKA twigs, The Roots, Jim James, Vampire Weekend, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Blood Orange, Sigur Ros, Emmylou Harris, Jon Batiste, Nathaniel Rateliff, Jason Isbell, Iggy Pop, The Flaming Lips, Keanu Reeves, Eddie Vedder, Annie Lennox, Brittany Howard, Black Pumas, Cage The Elephant, Cyndi Lauper, Trey Anastasio and many, many more. Visionary GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Warren Haynes, a cornerstone of the American music landscape lauded as one of the most formidable and prolific guitarists, vocalists, songwriters, and producers of the modern era, and Gibson, the iconic leading global instrument brand, have announced their partnership for the release of Haynes’ first signature guitar, the Gibson Warren Haynes Les Paul™ Standard, available worldwide now at the Gibson Garage Nashville and London, at authorized Gibson dealers, and on Gibson.com. Gibson has shaped sound across generations and genres of music, becoming one of the most relevant, played, and loved brands around the world. With instruments that inspire Gibson’s legendary artists and nurture new players transcending generations and genres of music, Gibson has emerged as an industry leader by offering award-winning guitars and new ways for artists to connect and grow.

“I’ve always been a Gibson guy—I got hooked on that sound as a teenager and have been playing them ever since,” says Haynes. “Needless to say, I’m honored to be partnering with Gibson to release my Signature Les Paul Standard. Being traditionally a humbucker guy, I’m really loving the hum-free P-90s. It’s a really cool tonal change, and the boost offers even more tonal options. I’m really enjoying playing this guitar on stage and looking forward to using it in the studio. I’m equally psyched that other guitar players will now have the opportunity to own and play one as well.”

Warren Haynes effortlessly cross-pollinates genres and unfurls solos that broil with passion in his distinctive, signature playing style. Renowned and highly regarded for his work in rock, blues, and Americana music through his work with the Allman Brothers Band, as a founding member of Gov’t Mule, the leader of The Warren Haynes Band, a solo artist, and as a session guitarist and sideman for numerous famous friends and groups. As one of music’s most treasured storytellers, Haynes and his artistry have led to thousands of memorable performances and millions of album and track sales. A master of multiple styles and genres, Warren has also shared his expertise with other players via multiple instructional videos. A self-described “Gibson man,” Warren has used several Gibson models throughout the years, including his cherished ’61 ES-335™, among others.

The new Warren Haynes Les Paul Standard is another standout, with features tailored specifically to Warren’s preferences, including a mahogany body with a plain maple cap, a 60s Cherry finish, a mahogany neck with a chunky 50s vintage profile like all of Warren’s favorite Les Pauls, a rosewood fretboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets, a pair of P-90 DC pickups that deliver hum-free performance with all the sonic nuances of traditional P-90 DC pickups, and a 15 dB boost that can be activated via a mini toggle switch. The quick-access battery compartment is mounted into the control cover on the rear, and the guitar will still function, even if the battery dies, by simply flipping the mini toggle switch to the off position.

Bearing the traditional looks and feel of a 50s-era Les Paul coupled with modern features like hum-free P-90 DC pickups and an onboard boost, the Warren Haynes Les Paul Standard bridges modern and traditional and is a great choice for players who, like Warren, want both a traditional appearance and modern functionality in one outstanding guitar.

Following their recent February run, The Warren Haynes Band – Haynes (vocals, guitar), Terrence Higgins (drums), Kevin Scott (bass), Matt Slocum (keys), Greg Osby (sax) – returns to the road in April and May for the Million Voices Whisper Spring Tour in addition to various headlining and festival appearances this spring and summer including European tour dates. Also in April, Haynes teams back up with The Brothers for their long-awaited return to Madison Square Garden in New York City for two special shows on Tuesday, April 15th and Wednesday, April 16th. The Brothers – Jaimoe (drums, founding member), Warren Haynes (guitars, vocals), Derek Trucks (guitars), Oteil Burbridge (bass), and Marc Quiñones (percussion) with Joe Russo (drums), Reese Wynans (keys), Isaac Eady (drums) and special guest Chuck Leavell (piano) – will continue to celebrate the legacy and influence of The Allman Brothers Band five years after their original debut at the world famous arena. Last fall, Haynes released his fourth solo album, Million Voices Whisper, via Fantasy Records. Haynes sounds as energetic and focused as ever on the self-produced album, powering through an 11-song set of soulful blues-rock, his first solo collection in nearly a decade. Accompanying Warren on the collection are members of his current all-star band, including John Medeski on keyboards, longtime drummer Terence Higgins (of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band), and Gov’t Mule bassist Kevin Scott.

Buzzing through the chart-topping album is the question of how to make things better—in love, in life, in the world—led by Haynes’s soaring vocals and the poignancy of his six-string mastery. Million Voices Whisper opens with “These Changes,” a co-write with Trucks, leading into “Go Down Swinging,” co-written with Johnson, which features a horn section and a Van Morrison vibe. Then, there’s the soulful power ballad “Till The Sun Comes Shining Through,” driven by Warren’s impassioned vocals and slide guitar skills. The expressive pipes of touring backup singer Saundra Williams are also heard on multiple tracks, including the lead single “This Life As We Know It,” which reached Top 15 on the Americana singles chart and Top 40 at Triple A radio. Among the four bonus tracks on the deluxe CD version is a new version of the Trucks-Haynes composition “Back Where I Started” featuring Warren on lead vocals and slide guitar and the power trio of Haynes, Nelson, and Johnson covering the CSNY classic “Find The Cost Of Freedom” into an extended version of “Day Of Reckoning.” Million Voices Whisper combines the eloquent musicianship of a triple-threat blues-rocker with the glowing spirit of a vital creative artist at the peak of his powers. PRESS HERE to listen and to order on CD, 2-LP vinyl set, and a deluxe CD version with four bonus songs.

Alt rock band The Yagas, fronted by Oscar and Emmy-nominated actress Vera Farmiga, and international punk band Gogol Bordello, led by Eugene Hütz, have released a live video for the popular Ukrainian love song “Chervona Ruta” from their performance earlier this month at Assembly in Kingston, NY. PRESS HERE to watch. With Vera and Eugene both of Ukrainian heritage, this special video release is their way of shedding light on Ukrainian culture and language while also helping those in need by raising money for Support Action Ukraine, an organization launched at the start of the war to provide humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian population. In addition to donating directly via the live video link, The Yagas and Gogol Bordello have created a limited-edition t-shirt for “Chervona Ruta” with all proceeds going to Support Action Ukraine. PRESS HERE to purchase.

The Yagas, who made their live debut at the Kingston show, and Eugene will next perform “Chervona Ruta” together at Bowery Ballroom in New York City on Saturday, April 5th at the Casa Gogol Records Presents: NEW NEW YORK event. PRESS HERE for tickets.

“I’m a first generation American. I was raised in the Ukrainian diaspora of New Jersey, instilled with an immense pride of my family’s heritage and culture. Ukrainian music and dance were a vital source of strength, identity, celebration and connection to Ukraine,” shares Farmiga. “Music has galvanized Ukrainian morale since the Russian invasion began. I thought, what a great way to uplift our loved ones in Ukraine than to perform a bangin’ cover of the quintessential Ukrainian song ‘Chervona Ruta.’ I love this particular song, that my Baba Nadia taught me. I grew up singing it at Ukrainian Plast and Syzokryli summer camps, deep in the woods and wildflower fields of Novyi Sokil, Soyuzivka, and Verhovyna, in New York’s Catskill Mountains. I associate this song with summer romance and lifelong friendships I developed, immersed in Ukrainian scouting and dance culture.”

“‘Chervona Ruta’ is steeped in complex emotions of romance, resilience, pride, passion and national identity,” Farmiga adds. “It’s not just a love song about a girl finding a red flower that brings luck in love. It’s a love song to Ukraine itself, evoking patriotic feeling. I wanted to sing it as a duet with Eugene Hütz of Gogol Bordello. Eugene himself is like a badass blooming mythological flower. He is magic on two feet. He explodes with ferocious love and joy of creativity, his energy pure and infectious. The song has been covered time and time again; we wanted to put our unique bluster and spin on it. Enjoy!”

"This is a particularly meaningful song for me to collaborate on with Vera and The Yagas, given that we are both of Ukrainian descent, even though we were born on different sides of the Atlantic Ocean,” says Hütz. “We both know it from childhood and with all respect to the original version, we thought of a distinctly tougher spin on it, just like the times we live in. What a natural way to connect and let that song do some inspirational as well as tangible fundraising work to support a trusted charity organization, Support Action Ukraine."

Formed in 2023, The Yagas – Farmiga (vocals), Renn Hawkey of Deadsy (keys), Jason Bowman (drums), Mark Visconti (guitar) and Mike Davis (bass) – introduced their elaborate sonic world last fall with their powerful debut single “The Crying Room” paired with a darkly enchanting video co-starring Hütz (PRESS HERE to watch). The New York-based independent quintet recently followed that up with “She’s Walking Down,” an exhilarating tale of violence and vengeance with a hauntingly beautiful music video directed by Farmiga (PRESS HERE to watch). An audacious band with otherworldly origins, The Yagas borrowed their name from the mystical Slavic folklore figure Baba Yaga, believed to devour the souls of the newly deceased to safeguard the fountains of life. The Yagas wholly share their namesake’s storied penchant for shapeshifting, morphing from metal to industrial to wildly extravagant alt-rock as their songs journey into the strangest depths of the human psyche. The Yagas have received early comparisons to A Perfect Circle, The Cure, and Type O Negative with praise and support from Revolver Magazine, Metal Hammer, Classic Rock Magazine, The Noise/Ones To Watch, Stereogum, Bloody Disgusting, Rock Cellar Magazine, and more. As shown on “The Crying Room” and “She’s Walking Down,” both featured tracks off the band’s debut full-length album out this spring, The Yagas embody a potent duality of shadow and light, ferocity and tenderness. Creating a truly singular aural experience, their music is endlessly unpredictable but infinitely propelled by the spellbinding force of Farmiga’s vocal work.

Since 1999, international punk band Gogol Bordello, led by Ukrainian frontman Eugene Hütz, has been filling up rooms with an energy that could run a whole city. Their latest album Solidaritine is no exception, going back to their hardcore roots. The band has lit up stages around the world alongside System of a Down, Primus, Rancid, Dropkick Murphys; dueted with Regina Spektor; appeared in films like Liev Schreiber’s Everything Is Illuminated with Elijah Wood and Filth and Wisdom helmed by Madonna; and cut albums with legends Rick Rubin and Steve Albini. Russia's war in Ukraine is personal for Eugene & the band, who have been tirelessly advocating for Ukrainian solidarity, partnering with Nova Ukraifffffffe, ArtDopomoga and beyond.

At this spring’s concerts, produced by Live Nation, The Brothers – Jaimoe (drums, founding ABB member), Warren Haynes (guitars, vocals), Derek Trucks (guitars), Oteil Burbridge (bass), and Marc Quiñones – will be joined by Joe Russo (drums), Reese Wynans (keys), Isaac Eady (drums) and special guest Chuck Leavell (piano). Tickets are still available for the shows on April 15th and 16th – visit www.thebrothersmsg.com for more information and to purchase.

The Brothers will dive into the acclaimed Allman Brothers Band repertoire from their decades-long career, while also showcasing the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees’ continued influence and legacy, more than ten years after their official final bow. The impetus for The Brothers return in 2025 was solidified at the SOULSHINE hurricane benefit at Madison Square Garden in November (hosted by Haynes and Dave Matthews Band) when Haynes and Trucks delivered a mesmerizing performance of the Allman’s classic “Whipping Post.” After being on stage at the sold-out, all-star event, the duo realized they needed to play this music again with their brothers Jaimoe, Oteil and Marc. And there’s no other time for the Allman Brothers music to be performed in New York City than Spring as the band’s longstanding, annual run at The Beacon Theatre every March symbolized the arrival of warmer weather.

PRESS HERE to watch a performance of “Midnight Rider” from the original Brothers 2020 show.

Celebrated folk-rock band DISPATCH has released their new single “Whisk Me Away” (PRESS HERE to listen) alongside the announcement of their forthcoming ninth studio album Yellow Jacket, out June 6 via Bomber Records/AWAL Recordings.

“Whisk Me Away” dives into deep themes of life’s fragility and redemption, capturing the raw urgency of a desperate plea to not be taken from this earth just yet. Towards its emotional peak, the refrain – “feel alive again, feel alive again, feel alive again” – rings out like both a cry and a celebration, anchoring the track in hope, revival and the stubborn will to keep going. Musically, the track serves as a standout moment for the band, blending a Southern rock spirit with a folk-rooted rhythm that moves the body as much as the heart. Twin lead guitars – reminiscent of the Allman Brothers – duel and dance over driving drums and rich instrumentals, building a sound that’s both expansive and intimate. The single also marks a first for the band, as longtime member Matt Embree takes the spotlight with a powerful lead-vocal performance, adding a new texture to DISPATCH’s evolving sound. It’s a bold, electrifying addition to their legacy – one that continues to explore human experience with introspection and unshakable groove.

The band returned “home” to Boston to record and produce nearly all of Yellow Jacket with Craig Welsch at Rear Window Studios, and the 11-song collection of music harkens back to the infectious blend of reggae, ska and roots rock that built the band’s heralded career and dedicated fanbase.

“For us, this album is a way to acknowledge what our culture is facing and the effects of the abuse of power,” said Chadwick Stokes. “In this album, you’ll find the effects war has on family in “Johnny Whoops,” the complexity and brilliance of Emily Dickinson’s words in “Trinket (ft. John Butler),” and we pay homage to the great activists of our time alongside Ani DiFranco on “In the Street,” as a reminder of how crucial it is to not sit back idly. But mostly, our goal with this album is for listeners to enjoy the tunes in whatever way, hopefully at times collectively, and in community.”

DISPATCH will kick off their Summer Tour 2025 alongside John Butler (with band) + special guests G. Love & Special Sauce, Donavon Frankenreiter and Illiterate Light (select dates) on June 3 in St. Augustine, Florida, and make stops in major markets including Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco and more (full routing can be found below). The mammoth 35-date outing is on sale now - PRESS HERE for tickets and more information.

Throughout their rise, the band has taken every opportunity to use their success for good, launching charitable organizations to fight inequality and mass incarceration, raising funds and awareness for environmental causes, schools and hospitals on the road, and even traveling as far afield as Zimbabwe to work with children and communities in need. Chadwick Stokes’ Calling All Crows joins bands and fans together in collective activism that has raised more than half a million dollars for feminist movements, while Brad Corrigan’s Love Light + Melody helps amplify the stories of children who live in extreme poverty.

Ileana’s Smile, the award-winning documentary film directed by Corrigan, which will be released worldwide next month, is an inspiring story of a girl who endures life in a trash dump in Managua, Nicaragua, and the devastating choices she faces. The film is being released to raise awareness for child vulnerability and to fund Ileana’s School of Hope – ensuring that every child is safe to flourish and has a chance to write their own story. The film also features the original DISPATCH song “Darker Light” (out May 23). For more information, please PRESS HERE.

Stokes’ has written a new Rock Opera called 1972. Still in the workshop phase, it’s the story of a 19-year-old pregnant woman named Hannah who flees an abusive relationship and joins a band of outcasts jumping freight trains across America. Hannah’s harrowing journey ultimately leads her to the “Janes,” the underground network of courageous women who took extreme risks to provide solace, hope and care to women in complicated times. Some influential women are involved in the development of 1972 including Jessie Nelson (Waitress) is directing, and the musical is co-produced by Stokes’ Calling All Crows Co-Founder Sybil Gallagher, Dori Berinstein (Stereophonic, Legally Blonde) and activist Laurie David (Fed Up, An Inconvenient Truth). After short runs in New York, Boston and Chicago, including a three-night, sold-out stint at Joe’s Pub, an upcoming workshop performance is planned for NY’s The Cutting Room on May 21. PRESS HERE for tickets and more information.

Formed by Chadwick Stokes and Brad Corrigan while in college in Vermont, DISPATCH has forged their own path outside the mainstream music industry as one of the most successful artists in the roots rock scene. Over the course of a slew of acclaimed studio and live albums and countless tours and festivals, the band has gone on to become one of biggest success stories in independent music history, selling out three nights at Madison Square Garden and drawing over 100,000 fans to a massive outdoor show in their adopted hometown of Boston without any traditional radio or major label support. Celebrated folk-rock band DISPATCH has released their ninth studio album Yellow Jacket via Bomber Records/AWAL Recordings. PRESS HERE to listen and HERE to purchase exclusive album merch and limited-edition vinyl.

It’s a bold addition to their legacy – one that continues to explore the human experience with introspection and unshakable groove.

But mostly, our goal with this album is for listeners to enjoy the tunes in whatever way, hopefully at times collectively, and in community.” Ani DiFranco added “It makes my heart so happy to have company in this political song racket. So crucial that none of us go slack, as you say,” and John Butler shared, “I have a lot of respect for Chad, Brad and all the guys outta DISPATCH. When they asked me to guest it was a breath of fresh air.”

Earlier this week, DISPATCH kicked off their Summer Tour 2025 alongside John Butler (with band) + special guests G. Love & Special Sauce, Donavon Frankenreiter and Illiterate Light (select dates) the tour is rolling through the U.S., making stops in major markets including Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco and more (full routing can be found below). In select markets along the tour, fans can gather with each other before the show at designated ‘Patch Party’ locations for early access to exclusive merch, DISPATCH collab beer, live music and more. PRESS HERE for tickets and more information.

The album also features “Darker Light” – written for the newly-released, award-winning documentary film – Ileana’s Smile – directed by Brad Corrigan. The film follows the inspiring story of a young girl who endures life in a trash dump in Managua, Nicaragua and the devastating choices she faces. The song features Stefan Lessard on bass (Dave Matthews Band) and Tim Snider on strings (Trevor Hall). PRESS HERE to watch the official video and HERE to watch the film and to learn more. Ileana’s Smile was released to raise awareness for child vulnerability and to fund Ileana’s School of Hope – ensuring that every child is safe to flourish and has a chance to write their own story.

Stokes has written a new Rock Opera called 1972, still in the workshop phase, that follows the story of Hannah, a 19-year-old woman fleeing an abusive relationship, who joins and eventually bonds with three outcasts riding the rails. After barely escaping a dangerous encounter with an illegal, mafia-run abortion, she connects with "Jane," an underground network of courageous women who take extreme risks to provide hope and care to women with nowhere to turn. The Janes and Hannah get arrested but are released in 1973, the day Roe V. Wade passed. More than a story of survival, 1972 serves as a powerful lens to view today's fight for personal freedom. Some influential women are involved in the development of 1972 including Jessie Nelson (Waitress) who is directing, and the musical is co-produced by Stokes’ Calling All Crows Co-Founder Sybil Gallagher, and activist Laurie David (Fed Up, An Inconvenient Truth). After short runs in New York, Boston and Chicago, including a three-night, sold-out stint at Joe’s Pub, upcoming workshop performances will be announced soon. PRESS HERE for more information.
