The Rock Collection is an all-star songwriting and performing collaboration with an amazing chemistry onstage. Melvin Seals (Jerry Garcia Band/JGB), Greg Anton (Zero), Stu Allen (Phil Lesh & Friends), Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz (ALO), and John-Paul McLean (JGB). They’re among the  most accomplished instrumentalists, singers and songwriters on the jamband circuit. Performing original songs by Melvin, Greg (with co-writer Robert Hunter), Lebo and Stu… with some choice cover-tunes… a Rock Collection concert includes extended improvisation, four-part harmonies, and dynamics that go from delicate ballads to blow-the-roof-off rock and roll.

Catch The Rock Collection @ Terrapin Crossroads on December 15th, 2017.  Tickets here.

Terrapin Crossroads Presents has announced the core lineup for its first shows of the 2024 Summer Season. The Terrapin Roadshow, at the Bruns Amphitheater in Orinda on June 1st and 2nd,  will feature guitar trio Grahame Lesh, Dan “Lebo” Leibowitz, and Stu Allen, along with ALO bassist Steve Adams, Grateful Shred drummer Alex Koford, and the incredibly talented Jason Crosby (Jackson Browne, Oteil & Friends, Phil Lesh & Friends) on keyboards.

Additional special guests will be announced soon!

Says guitarist Grahame Lesh: “The old Terrapin Crossroads was a gathering spot for music and joy for years, and we feel lucky to be able to continue creating that in beautiful outdoor spaces around the Bay Area. There’s something about playing Grateful Dead music under the sky, among the trees, that just feels right.”

Saturday, June 1st, will be ‘Psychedelic Saturday’, a two-set main band show where the band & special guests will dive deep into the repertoire and ethos of the Grateful Dead. Sunday, June 2nd will be ‘Western Sunday,’ which will let the band showcase their country and bluegrass skills during an additional two-set daytime performance.

We encourage everyone to dress up for both shows!

The June 1-2 shows will be the first Terrapin Roadshow event, and the first Terrapin Crossroads foray into the East Bay. For these shows, Terrapin Crossroads is partnering with Paper Moon Presents, who have put on concerts at the Bruns including ALO, Taj Mahal, Rebirth Brass Band, and many more.

The Bruns is an intimate concert bowl amid beautiful eucalyptus and redwood groves, on protected watershed in the hills outside Berkeley. The grounds will include picnic tables, pop-up live music, and fun, colorful craft vendors.

Tickets for all Terrapin Crossroads Presents shows are currently on sale, at www.sundaydaydream.com
