The Miami Jazz Fest™ is Jazz, pure Jazz! Scheduled for November 17th and 18th at the Klipsch Amphitheater at Bayfront Park adjacent to Biscayne Bay in Downtown Miami, the event promises to be a line-up of quality Jazz performances that will capture the excitement of fans throughout South Florida and beyond.

"There are many music festivals that call themselves 'Jazz' events, but are all too often watered down with other types of music" says event founder and producer, Carmen J. Cartiglia. “The Miami Jazz Fest™ will be going back to the basics and will bring in some exceptional true jazz artists from around the world.”

Saturday night, November 17th will be dedicated to the exotic performances of Brazilian Jazz artists.  It will feature a star studded line up of international musicians to introduce you to the unique and varied styles of Brazilian Jazz.

Then Sunday’s focus, November 18th, including Jazz great Monty Alexander, will be an all-day event that will bring in some swinging, no nonsense, straight ahead Jazz performances by world renowned musicians from across the globe. This will be a REAL Jazz Festival with the very best musicians the Jazz world has to offer coming together to create an experience not to be missed!

In addition to Monty Alexander performing on Sunday night, among the artists currently scheduled to perform are: Saturday night, dedicated to the sound of Jazz in Brazil, Trio De Paz, Maucha Adnet, Patty Ascher, Antonio Adolfo, and Joe Carter; and the line up on Sunday includes Mike DiRubbo, Don Friedman, Bucky Pizzarelli, Jack Wilkins, Jesse Jones, Warren Chaisson and Giacomo Gates.

"We're going 'Old School' for this event and bringing the people of Miami a true Jazz event that they can be proud of!"  Mr. Cartiglia goes on to say that "this is the start of an annual Jazz festival that will grow with each year and establish Miami as the home for 'True Jazz' and the revival Jazz is enjoying."

Tickets are on sale now for the Miami Jazz Fest™ November 17th and 18th at the Klipsch Amphitheater at Bayfront Park.  Advance two-day tickets are $130.00 for Reserved Seats and $110.00 for the Festival Lawn.  To purchase tickets go to www.livenation.com or charge by phone: 1-800-745-3000.

“The Blues is where it all began for Modern Music in America,” says Neil Jacobsen, President – Live Nation Florida.  “Putting this show together has been a labor of love and we are very excited to bring a world class Blues Festival to Florida as an annual event.”

It has been an amazing year for the Tedeschi Trucks Band or TTB as their loyal fans prefer to call them.  In February their album Revelator won the Grammy Award for “Best Blues Album.”  Then in July they dominated the Blues Music Awards (formerly the WC Handy Awards) where they won not only Album of the Year, but also took home trophies for Band of the Year, Gibson Guitar Award (Derek Trucks) and Contemporary Blues Female Artist (Susan Tedeschi).  True to Truck's promise, the album delivered a collection of blues-dipped rockers and heart stirring ballads in which the echoes of so many great traditions flowed together naturally, blending with an entirely original, modern sensibility. Critically acclaimed as a 4 Star "masterpiece" by Rolling Stone magazine and simply "Outstanding" by USA Today, Revelator broke into the Billboard Top 200 chart at #12, bringing both artists to their highest first week sales and charting of their careers. Their second album, Everybody's Talkin' is a double live disc recorded on the band's fall tour last year.  Tedeschi Trucks Band is an 11-member ensemble overflowing with talent and musical familiarity.  In addition to Susan Tedeschi (a six time grammy nominee) and Derek Trucks (who is currently #16 on Rolling Stone’s list of 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time) the band includes harmony singers Mike Mattison and Mark Rivers, brothers Oteil Burbridge (long time bassist for the Allman Brothers Band) and Kofi Burbridge (longtime keyboardist/flutist with The Derek Trucks Band), a pair of drummers J. J. Johnson and Tyler Greenwell, as well as trumpeter Maurice Brown, tenor saxophonist Kebbi Williams, and trombonist Saunders Sermons.

"We are thrilled to be a part of these inaugural festivals in our home state of Florida, and share the stage with some great musicians and friends."-Derek Truck and Susan Tedeschi

Also highlighting the inaugural bill for the Festival are: contemporary guitar legend Walter Trout formerly with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers; Louisiana slide wizard Sonny Landreth; Allman Brothers drummer Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band; The Wood Brothers, featuring Chris from Modeski, Martin & Wood and his well-known singer/songwriter brother Oliver; award-winning British blues guitarist Matt Schofield; the driving force of urban funk, Big Sam’s Funky Nation; Florida guitar favorite Bobby Lee Rodgers; multiple Grammy and Blues Music Award-winner Joe Louis Walker; the no-frills blend of Chicago, Texas, and Delta blues of guitarist Sean Chambers; and the one and only New Orleans Blues Legend Dr. John (St. Petersburg and Boca Raton only).  At last a real Blues Festival that will become an annual event for the Sunshine State!

The inaugural Sunshine Blues Festival headlined by the Tedeschi Trucks Band comes to Florida for three dates in 2013, Friday, January 18 at Centennial Park in Fort Myers; Saturday, January 19 at Mizner Park Amphitheater, Boca Raton in South Florida; and Sunday, January 20 at Vinoy Park, St. Petersburg in the Tampa Bay Area.  Tickets for the all day event go on sale Saturday, October 6th at 10AM at www.livenation.com, all TicketMaster outlets or charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.

Incredible performers The Civil Wars come to the intimate Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theatre on Saturday, January 12, 2013. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 19th / 10AM.  This is part of the Cruzan Concert Series.

In some ways, music doesn't get much more modest or minimalist than it is in the hands of The Civil Wars, a duo comprised of California-to-Nashville transplant Joy Williams and her Alabaman partner, John Paul White. They travel without a backup band, and on their first full-length album, Barton Hollow, the bare-bones live arrangements that fans hear on the road are fleshed out with just the barest of acoustic accoutrements. Each song is an intimate conversation, and no third wheels or dinner-party chatter are going to interrupt that gorgeous, haunting hush.  On the other hand, there's been something distinctly loud about the duo's introduction to the world, even prior to the album's release. Their signature song "Poison & Wine" was heard on Grey's Anatomy—in the foreground, in its entirety, over a key climactic montage, prompting hundreds of thousands of viewers to Google the mystery music. And they got a wholly unsolicited endorsement when America's biggest pop star gave The Civil Wars a seal of approval. After first tweeting her love for the duo, fellow Nashvillian Taylor Swift included "Poison & Wine" as a selection in her official iTunes playlist, saying, "I think this is my favorite duet. It's exquisite."

General Admission tickets are $26.50 in advance and $28.00 day of show.  They go on sale Friday, October 19, 2012 at 10AM at LiveNation.com or charge by phone 800-745-3000 and at the Fillmore Box Office during normal business hours (Mon. – Fri., 11AM – 6PM and during show days).  Some Special Mezzanine seating is also available.

Winner of multiple Blues Music Awards and a 2012 Grammy Award for “Best Blues Album” the Tedeschi Trucks Band will once again headline the Second Annual Sunshine Music & Blues Festival in Florida, playing two dates in the state.  Featuring two stages of live bands, a wide array of refreshing craft beers and delectable menus from a wide variety of food vendors, the Festival will kick off Saturday, January 18, 2014, NOON at Mizner Park Amphitheater, Boca Raton in South Florida and then Sunday, January 19, 2013, NOON, at Vinoy Park, St. Petersburg in the Tampa Bay AreaEarly Bird tickets for what has become a major annual event for the Sunshine State, the Sunshine Music & Blues Festival, will go on sale Wednesday, October 2nd at 10AM through Friday, October 4th at 10PM at www.livenation.com.  No password is needed. General on sale is scheduled for Monday, October 7th at 10AM at www.livenation.com, all TicketMaster outlets or charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.  Early Bird General Admission tickets are $39.50 while regular General Admission tickets for the all day event are $49.50.  Special Reserved Tickets are available for $99.50 and some VIP packages are also availableAll dates, acts and ticket prices are subject to change without notice. All tickets are subject to applicable taxes, parking and service and handling charges. While last year was an amazing year for the Tedeschi Trucks Band, or TTB as their loyal prefer to call them, this year has been another strong showing as well.  They have just released their second studio album, Made Up Mind.  AllMusic.com remarks that: "Made Up Mind is tight; it maintains the gritty, steamy, Southern heart displayed on Revelator, but the growth in songwriting, arrangement, and production is immeasurable."  Since Revelator had won the Grammy Award for “Best Blues Album” in 2012 the comparison is awesome.  Now, with the release of Made Up Mind there isn’t a shred of doubt that Susan Tedeschi, her husband and creative collaborator, Derek Trucks, and their superb bandmates are on to something -- something very big.  For Derek and Susan, TTB’s strength in numbers -- the band presently comprises 10 members -- virtually guaranteed that a wide range of influences would steer the music to new, previously unexplored places. That diversity is evident throughout Made Up Mind. “I felt that with the personnel in this band, it was just a matter of time before all of these ideas started leaking out,” says Trucks. “But we had a lot of confidence that it was going to be really good right out of the gate.” Today, as the result of carefully building it from scratch, Tedeschi Trucks Band is nothing less than one big happy family, a traveling roots music circus of sorts, roving from town to town and pulling out all the stops along the way, never knowing just what will be the highlight of tonight’s show or which band member will be the one to shine in the next moment. Each member of TTB is a strong enough force to be a bandleader in his own right, but the chemical reaction that takes place when they all come together results in a mighty sound that’s even greater than the sum of its considerable parts. Also appearing on this year’s bill for the Festival are: New Orleans’ favorites Galactic; legendary Leon Russell; the great acoustic blues of Hot Tuna with Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady; the incredible jazz bassist Stanley Clarke; The Ringers featuring Jimmy Herring (from Widespread Panic), Wayne Krantz, Michael Landau, Keith Carlock and Etienne Mbappe; New Orleans’ guitarist, singer and songwriter Tab Benoit (Boca date only); guitar virtuoso Bobby Lee Rogers; British blues guitarist and singer Oli Brown (who blew everyone away last year at his FL debut at Wanee Fest); plus a special guest to be announced shortlyWith Great Music, Great Craft Beers and Great Food, the Second Annual Sunshine Music & Blues Festival headlined by the Tedeschi Trucks Band comes only to Florida for two dates in 2014, Saturday, January 18 at Mizner Park Amphitheater, Boca Raton in South Florida; and Sunday, January 19 at Vinoy Park, St. Petersburg in the Tampa Bay Area.  Early Bird tickets for the all day event go on sale Wednesday, October 2nd at 10AM through Friday, October 4th at 10PM at www.livenation.com. HUKA Entertainment proudly announces the return of Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival, taking place Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13, 2014 on the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL.A limited quantity of Early Bird Presale tickets for the 2014 festival will be available online only at www.tortugamusicfestival.com this Friday, October 18 at 10:00am EDT.  This public presale allows early supporters of the festival to purchase discounted tickets, including two-day general admission for $145.00 each, two-day VIP for $599.00 each and two-day Super VIP for $999 each (shipping and handling fees may apply to each ticket type).  A four-ticket purchase limit will be in effect.  Additional details can be found via www.tortugamusicfestival.com.Tortuga Music Festival, produced and promoted by HUKA Entertainment, is a two-day music festival on the beach featuring nearly two dozen of the hottest artists in country, rock and roots music. Created together with the Rock the Ocean Foundation, the event serves to celebrate the festival’s ocean side setting while raising awareness of issues impacting the world’s oceans and supporting marine research and conservation.“We’re incredibly excited to announce our return to the legendary white sands of Fort Lauderdale’s premiere beach,” says HUKA Entertainment co-founder and CEO A.J. Niland.  “We’ve been fortunate to have the support of not only the community and fans but a tremendous response from artists as well, all of which is going to make us bigger and better in 2014.”“When I first dreamed a few years ago of an event that would celebrate the ocean via music, I never imagined it would turn into one of the leading music festivals in America,” adds Rock The Ocean founder Chris Stacey.  “Fort Lauderdale Beach on the majestic Atlantic Ocean is the perfect setting to remind everyone why the preservation of our waterways and marine life is so important.”Niland says 2014’s Tortuga Music Festival lineup will feature a lineup similar to its inaugural year, where over 25,000 festival attendees enjoyed headliners Kenny Chesney and Eric Church along with The Avett Brothers, Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite, Jake Owen, Lynryd Skynyrd, and many more.“I can’t imagine a better lineup in our first year than the one we had,” says Niland.  “But we’re dedicated to making sure our next bill is even more impressive, if that’s possible, and have already confirmed top-caliber artists for 2014.”Anchored by live music performances across three stages, the centerpiece to Tortuga Music Festival is its Conservation Village, curated by Stacey, where over 20 organizations dedicated to marine research and conservation will provide interactive, educational experiences for festival patrons.Stacey notes that the Conservation Village will likewise offer premium content in its sophomore outing, after featuring such notables as The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, Shark Savers, Sea Turtle Oversight Protection and nineteen other exhibits in year one.  “Guy Harvey is a rock star in his own right, and it was such a pleasure to have him here in 2013 signing autographs and meeting fans in the village to discuss conservation” says Stacey.  “That’s a hard act to follow, so we’re pulling out all the stops this time around.”Additionally, in 2013, festival-goers were encouraged to collect garbage at the event site to minimize the festival’s impact on the environment.  “Over 1,000 bags were filled with waste by fans in our first year, which tells us that our cause is as important to music and ocean lovers as it is to us,” says Stacey.“One thing we heard repeatedly this year from both the artists and the fans was how much fun everyone had with their feet in the sand and the sound of the waves blending with the music,” says Niland.  “That makes it hard to forget who the true headliner of our event is – the ocean – and what we can do to make sure it returns every year.”

The second annual Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival, which takes place April 12th and 13th and features an all-star lineup of some of music’s hottest acts, serves to celebrate the event’s oceanfront setting while raising awareness of issues related to marine conservation and generating support for marine research. In keeping with those goals, the festival is proud to announce that the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation will present this year’s Conservation Village.  The one-of-a-kind Guy Harvey Conservation Village will host over 20 marine conservation organizations and exhibitions at the festival. Its objective is to provide attendees with information and tools about key conservation and research issues in a fun, learning environment that will complement amazing performances from co-headliners Luke Bryan and Eric Church, along with Hank Williams, Jr., Train, Dierks Bentley, Brantley Gilbert, Sheryl Crow, Billy Currington, Slightly Stoopid, Ziggy Marley, 38 Special, Brett Eldredge, Parmalee, Cole Swindell,  Brett Dennen, Delta Rae, Eric Paslay, Moon Taxi, The Revivalists, White Denim, Frankie Ballard, Brothers Osborne, Chase Rice, , Blackjack Billy, Sons of Fathers and Quaker City Nighthawks.Dr. Guy Harvey, who is widely recognized today as the world’s finest marine wildlife artist and is an active marine conservationist, will once again make a special appearance at this year’s festival.“The Tortuga Music Festival is a terrific event to enjoy some great music,” says Dr. Guy Harvey. “However it also provides a unique opportunity for people to learn about challenges facing our oceans and what we are doing to conserve the ocean’s critical marine wildlife. Last year, many concertgoers visited the Conservation Village to better understand why our seas are so important. We hope to see many more music fans at this year’s ‘Guy Harvey Conservation Village.’”“When I first had the idea to pair music and marine conservation into one event, I never would have imagined that we would have this much ‘talent’ merging together for the cause,” says Rock The Ocean founder Chris Stacey. “The major artists and conservation partners coming together to celebrate and preserve our oceans is simply amazing. Now, having Guy Harvey on board for our second year really puts an exclamation point on our vision.”Guy Harvey Conservation Village exhibits will be interactive and hands-on, allowing patrons to follow live shark tracking, try lionfish recipes, challenge big game fish in a simulator game and see what a sea turtle nest looks like. Organizations and exhibits confirmed for participation in this year’s village include Guy Harvey Research Institute, Florida Fishing Academy, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, National Coral Reef Institute, REEF exhibit, Green Gourmets, Tampa Bay Watch, Seagrass exhibit, Sharklet Technologies, Sawfish exhibit, and Sea Turtle Oversight Protection (STOP).Together, these organizations and exhibits will address key conservation and research issues including: shark finning, overfishing of key species including the bluefin tuna, lionfish invasion, degradation of habitats (including sandy beachfront, water quality and seagrasses), loss of coral reefs, and seafood fraud that both endangers health and costs consumers. With Florida hosting 90 percent of all sea turtle nests in the Continental United States, STOP additionally works with the festival each year to help protect the three types of turtle species that nest on Fort Lauderdale beach (leatherback, green and loggerhead) by ensuring the turtles and their nests aren’t disturbed by concertgoers.Although only 1 in 1,000 to 10,000 hatchlings survive to adulthood, sea turtles that live in reef systems help play an important role in maintaining a proper ocean and reef ecology by foraging on jellyfish, which can destroy fish populations. Sea turtles also stimulate the regional economy as a major tourist draw to Florida’s beaches and reef systems each year.     Coastal development and loss of habitat due to sea level rise are the largest threats affecting sea turtle nesting habitats around the world. Commercial fishing, aquatic debris (including plastics), boat strikes and poaching are also contributing threats to their survival.Nesting female sea turtles and their hatchlings are affected by light pollution, which can have a disorienting effect on their navigation. Coastal communities can help sea turtles find their way to the ocean by using low wattage bulbs that are a long wavelength light (amber or red in color) and shielded from the view of the beach.Last year’s inaugural festival drew more than 25,000 music fans from all over the world and raised more than $70,000 from ticket proceeds and donations for the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation.Tickets are on sale now at www.tortugamusicfestival.com.

For the third year in a row the Tedeschi Trucks Band, or TTB as their loyal fans prefer to call them, headline what is fast becoming their signature Festival.  They are coming off of a year in which the 11-piece juggernaut led by husband/wife duo Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi released a chart-topping third album Made Up Mind.  Just four years since its inception, Tedeschi Trucks Band has already released three critically-acclaimed and commercially successful albums.  The Band’s debut, Revelator, earned a Grammy, while 2011's dynamic live follow-up, Everybody’s Talkin’, delivered a brilliant double-disc classic capturing the band’s incendiary musicianship on stage.   Made Up Mind landed #11 on Billboard's Top 200 Album chart as well as #1 Blues and #2 Rock charts.  Hailed by Rolling Stone as “equal parts Stax and Muscle Shoals without dilution of either, Made Up Mind's repertoire of blues-soaked, roots rock neo-classics add to an ever-evolving setlist that bolsters Tedeschi Trucks Band’s growing reputation as a can’t-miss concert experience.”  Clear more room on the mantel, as well, as the band recently collected three 2014 Blues Music awards for Best Band, Best Rock Blues Album for Made Up Mind, and Best Contemporary Blues Female Artist, which went to Susan Tedeschi.   This marks the unprecedented third consecutive year Tedeschi Trucks Band garnered Best Band honors.  With Trucks recently announcing his impending departure from The Allman Brothers Band at year’s end, it’s evident the renowned guitarist has made TTB his top priority.  Tedeschi Trucks Band has found a magical combination that delivers nightly an unforgettable evening of music, one the Boston Herald says, “booms like a soul thunderclap.”

Also appearing on this year’s bill for the Festival, making it our best ever,  are: Singer/Musician extraordinaire Grace Potter; legendary guitarist and former Allman Brother Dickey Betts; The Chris Robinson Brotherhood a rootsy and prolific jam band formed by the Black Crowes frontman; Los Lobos with their powerhouse mix of rock, Tex-Mex, country, folk, R&B, blues and traditional Spanish and Mexican music; The Both, the rockin’ new collaboration between Aimee Mann and Ted Leo; Grammy winning New Orleans institution the Rebirth Brass Band; Matt Schofield, voted one of the top ten British blues guitarists of all time; and guitarist Sean Chambers with his no-frills blend of Chicago, Texas, and Delta styles.

With More Great Music, More Great Craft Beers and More Great Food, the 2015 Sunshine Music & Blues Festival headlined by the Tedeschi Trucks Band comes only to Florida for two dates in 2015, Saturday, January 17 at Vinoy Park, St. Petersburg in the Tampa Bay Area; and Sunday, January 18 at Mizner Park Amphitheater, Boca Raton in South Florida.  Early Bird tickets for the all day event go on sale Tuesday, September 23/10AM through Thursday, September 25/10PM at www.livenation.com. No password is needed. General on sale is scheduled for Friday, September 26 at 10AM at www.livenation.com, all TicketMaster outlets or charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.

Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival, produced and promoted by HUKA Entertainment, is a two-day music and conservation festival on the beach featuring over two dozen of the hottest artists in country, rock and roots music. Created together with the Rock the Ocean Foundation, the event serves to celebrate the festival’s ocean side setting while raising awareness of issues impacting the world’s oceans and supporting marine research and conservation, as well as protection of the festival’s namesake – sea turtles that nest annually along South Florida’s Atlantic seaboard.

“We’ve heard over and over what a unique and special event Tortuga is from our artists, fans and the community,” says HUKA Entertainment co-founder and CEO A.J. Niland, “As a result, we’re challenging ourselves in our third year to ensure we continue to deliver on our success and provide the sort of world-class event everyone has come to expect.”

“The concept of marrying music and conservation has proven to be a winner,” adds Rock The Ocean founder Chris Stacey. “With this year’s event, we hope to take our conservation awareness to new highs.”

While the 2015 festival performer line-up will remain under wraps for the time being, Niland says fans can expect the same caliber of talent to hit the beach at Tortuga as in previous years, which have featured the likes of Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Hank Williams, Jr., Billy Currington, Sheryl Crow, Brett Eldredge, Ziggy Marley, Slightly Stoopid, Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite, Lynryd Skynyrd, Frankie Ballard and many, many more.

“Our goal remains to bring the best available talent we can to the beach so fans and artists can appreciate our world’s resources firsthand, and what it is we are trying to preserve,” says Niland. “Musically, we’ll have a little something for everyone, and it doesn’t hurt that we’re going to have a heck of a party in the process.”

With live music performances across three stages, the centerpiece to the festival is its Conservation Village, curated by Stacey, where over 20 organizations dedicated to marine research and conservation will provide interactive, educational experiences for festival patrons.

Stacey notes the Conservation Village will again offer premium content in its third outing, after featuring such notables as The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, Shark Savers, Sea Turtle Oversight Protection, Florida Fishing Academy and Bonefish Tarpon Trust, among others.

Krieger’s latest release Singularity is a Grammy nominated mix of all of his eclectic influences, resulting in a stunning display of his guitar prowess. Robby continues to tour with his band performing Doors hits.

With their new album The Waterfall due out on May 4, My Morning Jacket brings their 2015 World Tour to the intimate Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theatre Monday, August 3rd, 2015 / 8:30PM.  Tickets are on sale Friday, March 13th /10AM.

My Morning Jacket has built a reputation as a group who consistently challenges the paradigms in which they are placed. From psychedelic to soul to classic rock and roll, My Morning Jacket's range remains steadfast throughout the band’s sixteen years. The Louisville quintet released the first of 6 albums in 1999 with their last two, 2008's Evil Urges and 2011's Circuital each receiving Grammy nominations - the latter debuting at number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. On May 4, My Morning Jacket will release their seventh full-length album, The Waterfall. Recorded in Northern California’s Stinson Beach, they gladly took the inspiration that it offered and crafted a sparkling new album. The band features Jim James (singer/songwriter, guitar), Tom Blankenship( bass), Patrick Hallahan(drums), Carl Broemel (guitar, pedal steel, saxophone, vox) and Bo Koster (keyboards, vox). Known as one of the most engaging, eclectic & electric bands, in no small part due to Jim James' other-worldly vocals, they've become legendary for their live performances. The New York Times wrote this about the band, “…the new kings of expand-your-mind, religious-experience rock…”

General Admission tickets for My Morning Jacket are $45.00 and go on sale Friday, March 13th / 10AM at LiveNation.com or charge by phone 800-745-3000 and at the Fillmore Box Office during normal business hours (Mon. – Fri., 11AM – 6PM and during show days).  A limited number of VIP Reserved Seat tickets are also available.

Prolific and imaginative jamband Umphrey’s McGee brings its high energy and multi instrumental act to the intimate Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theatre Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 / 9PM.  Tickets are on sale Friday, April 24th / 10AM.

"Umphrey's McGee stand revealed as consummate musical alchemists, deftly reconfiguring sounds from rock's vast panoply of styles." Entertainment Weekly.

Fans who have followed Umphrey's McGee for any period of time know that there are only two guarantees: you never know what you’re going to get, and Umphrey's always delivers. After 17-plus years of performing more than 100 concerts annually, releasing eight studio albums and selling more than 3.5 million tracks online, Umphrey’s McGee might be forgiven if they chose to rest on their laurels. But then that wouldn’t be consistent with the work ethic demonstrated by the band, which consistently attempts to raise the bar, setting and achieving new goals since forming on the Notre Dame campus in South Bend, Indiana, in 1997. After releasing their eighth studio album, Similar Skin, the first for their own indie label, Nothing Too Fancy (N2F) Music , the group continue to push the envelope and test the limits. Their brand-new studio album, The London Session, was a dream come true for the members having been recorded at the legendary Studio Two at historic Abbey Road. The stealth recording session yielded 10 tracks in a single day, proving once again, the prolific UM waits for no one. The clever arrangements, meticulously crafted chordal interplay, and virtuoso instrumentation put Umphrey's McGee in a category all their own. "Our live show is malleable and every night is its own thing, where you never know where things are going to go," keyboardist Joel Cummins explains.

General Admission tickets for Umphrey’s McGee are $27.50 in Advance and $30.00 Day of Show.  They are on sale Friday, April 24th / 10AM at LiveNation.com or charge by phone 800-745-3000 and at the Fillmore Box Office during normal business hours (Mon. – Fri., 11AM – 6PM and during show days).

All dates, acts and ticket prices are subject to change without notice. All tickets are subject to applicable taxes, parking and service and handling charges.

Legendary guitarist Warren Haynes comes to the intimate Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater Thursday, October 22nd, 2015 / 8PM.  Tickets are on sale Friday, July 17th / 10AM.

Grammy Award winning artist Warren Haynes has been recognized as a cornerstone of the American music landscape and revered as one of the finest guitar players in the world. Throughout his prolific career as part of three of the greatest live groups in rock history – Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule and the Dead – his virtuosic artistry has led to thousands of unforgettable performances and millions of album and track sales. Despite all of the ground that Haynes has covered on his musical journey, the impressive thing is that he still has many miles to explore. On his newest solo album Ashes and Dust, he puts forth one of his most gorgeous, musically rich and personal albums to date. It is endlessly exciting to see one of the most brilliant minds in modern music shine an entirely new light on the depths of his creativity. Ashes and Dust, only the third studio album Haynes has ever released under his own name, is a masterful work of art and a particularly important statement for him. The songs are immediately and clearly different from his usual style – encompassing beautiful acoustic arrangements, a rootsy/Americana soundscape and honeyed vocals that cut straight through to the soul. Given his life-long commitment to experimentation and eclecticism, though, it should come as no surprise that the album reveals yet another new side of his musical personality. “These songs were each very important to me when they were written, especially since some of them go so far back,” says Haynes. “They’re all visual memories and experiences of certain time periods that I tried to capture in song. They really represent a collection of memories in my life.”

Reserved Seat tickets for Warren Haynes Thursday, October 22nd, 2015 / 8PM are $39.50 and $29.50 and are on sale Friday, July 17th / 10AM at LiveNation.com or charge by phone 800-745-3000 and at the Fillmore Box Office during normal business hours (Mon. – Fri., 11AM – 6PM and during show days).

All dates, acts and ticket prices are subject to change without notice. All tickets are subject to applicable taxes, parking and service and handling charges.

HUKA Entertainment, leading creator and producer of large scale destination-location music festivals, proudly announces the return of Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival for its fourth year.  The one of a kind country music at the beach experience will now take place for three days -- Friday, April 15, Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17, 2016 -- on the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

A limited quantity of Early Bird Pre-sale tickets for the 2016 festival will be available online at www.tortugamusicfestival.com this Friday, October 2nd at 10:00am EST.  This public pre-sale allows early supporters of the festival to purchase discounted tickets, including three-day General Admission for $179.00 each, three-day VIP for $679.00 each and three-day Super VIP for $1,149.00 each (shipping and handling fees may apply to each ticket type).  Tickets will also be available by phone at 877.987.6487. A four-ticket purchase limit will be in effect.  Additional details can be found via www.tortugamusicfestival.com.

Tortuga Music Festival, produced and promoted by HUKA Entertainment, features more than thirty of the hottest artists in country, rock and roots music as well as ocean conservation activations. The event serves to celebrate the festival’s ocean side setting while raising awareness of issues impacting the world’s oceans and supporting marine research and conservation, as well as protection of the festival’s namesake – sea turtles that nest annually along South Florida’s Atlantic seaboard.

“We’ve had a unanimously tremendous response from the artists, fans and community expressing what a unique and special event Tortuga has become,” says HUKA Entertainment Chief Experience Officer A.J. Niland, “We’re thrilled to be in the position to offer fans an extra day and more Tortuga-time on the sand.”

Chris Stacey, the co-founder of Tortuga and the founder of the Rock The Ocean Foundation adds “I am so proud that a portion of the proceeds from this amazing musical event can go back to help save our seas. So far, Tortuga Music Festival has given back over $250,000 to the Rock The Ocean Foundation.  Rock The Ocean Foundation helps partner with and fund some of the best local and global organizations that work tirelessly to heal our oceans. Locally, groups like Nova Southeast University, Sea Turtle Oversite Protection, The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation and many others receive funding from this very special concert.”

While Country superstar Blake Shelton has already been announced as a headliner for the 2016 festival the remainder of the performer line-up will remain under wraps for the time being, Niland says fans can expect the same caliber of talent to hit the beach at Tortuga as in previous years, which have featured the likes of Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Jake Owen, Hank Williams, Jr., The Doobie Brothers, Billy Currington, Sheryl Crow, Brett Eldredge, Ziggy Marley, Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite, Lynryd Skynyrd, Frankie Ballard and many, many more.

This year's Conservation Village, which will again be curated by Rock The Ocean’s Chris Stacey, will play host to more than a dozen organizations dedicated to marine research and conservation, and will provide interactive, educational experiences for festival patrons.

Additionally, festivalgoers will again be encouraged to collect waste at the event site to minimize the festival’s impact on the environment, as in previous years, when fans were rewarded for their efforts with various premiums given in exchange for collected trash.

For the fourth year in a row Tedeschi Trucks Band, or TTB as their fans prefer to call them, are returning to what has become their signature live musical event.  Formed in 2010 with a spirit of adventure that inspired Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks to shelve their equally successful solo careers, Tedeschi Trucks Band, a 12-piece tour-de-force, has quickly become the vanguard of modern roots music.  Hailed as "a deeply skilled groove machine (Los Angeles Times) that "booms like a soul thunderclap" (Boston Herald), the band has cemented their reputation for thrilling audiences worldwide with its legendary live performances, original songwriting and award-winning albums. In just five years, TTB has toured extensively worldwide with top-bill performances at The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Bonnaroo and the venerable Newport Jazz Festival. Driven by Trucks, #16 of the top 100 Guitarists of All Time (Rolling Stone), and Tedeschi’s impassioned, blues-soaked vocals, the Jacksonville-based group earned a Grammy for its debut Revelator, followed with a dynamic live double disc, Everybody’s Talkin’, and 2013’s acclaimed Made Up Mind. With Derek Trucks having recently wrapped up his 15-year tenure with The Allman Brothers Band, TTB has fully dedicated itself to touring and increasing its repertoire with new material for their highly anticipated third studio album, to be released in early 2016.

Also appearing on this year’s bill for the Festival are: Singer/Songwriter/Musicians The Indigo Girls who Rolling Stone describes as the “ideal duet partners. Their voices soar and swoop as one, alternately raucous and soothing”; popular New Orleans hard-edged funk band Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue; Hard Working Americans an American rock supergroup featuring singer Todd Snider, bassist Dave Schools from Widespread Panic, Neal Casal of Chris Robinson Brotherhood on guitar and vocals, Chad Staehly of Great American Taxi on keyboards and Duane Trucks, younger brother to Derek on drums; Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, regarded as one of the best live bands on the planet and fresh off the Rolling Stones Zip Code Tour; New Orleans rock hybrid The Revivalists;  the unique dobro influenced sound of The Jerry Douglas Band; Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna legendary guitarist Jorma Kaukonen; the rocking guitar mastery of the Bobby Lee Rodgers; and the killer licks, soaring guitar solos and heart wrenching vocals of Joanne Shaw Taylor.

With More Great Music, More Great Craft Beers and More Great Food, the 2016 Sunshine Music Festival headlined by the Tedeschi Trucks Band comes only to Florida for two dates in 2016, Saturday, January 16 at Vinoy Park, St. Petersburg in the Tampa Bay Area; and Sunday, January 17 at Mizner Park Amphitheater, Boca Raton in South Florida.  Tickets go on sale Friday, October 9 / 10AM at www.livenation.com, all TicketMaster outlets or charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.

The fourth annual Tortuga Music Festival, country music’s biggest beach party featuring Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, and Dierks Bentley, continues to be more than just entertainment.  As the festival celebrates its tremendous oceanfront setting, it also informs concertgoers on the issues impacting the world’s oceans while supporting marine research and conservation. Tortuga Music Festival is proud to announce more than 30 marine conservation organizations and exhibits will be featured in Rock The Ocean’s Conservation Village this year.

“From day one our goal was not only to create unforgettable experiences and memories, but also to use our platform to elevate conservation issues. Thanks to our partners, we will continue to make a tremendous splash this year with some truly eye-opening and informative activations that address key issues,” says HUKA Entertainment Chief Experience Officer A.J. Niland.

“My inspiration for this event was the singular cause of saving our seas,” says Rock The Ocean founder Chris Stacey. “My favorite part every year is getting to meet the ‘rock stars’ of the conservation movement who work tirelessly 365 days a year to ensure our ocean’s future. This entire event was based on the concept of ‘edu-tainment.’ Let’s put on a killer show… but also make sure our fans leave with some new insight and knowledge about how they can ‘Rock The Ocean!’”

Conservation Village will once again be categorized into Rock The Ocean's 5 Core Issues: Coral Reef Degradation, Shark Conservation, Turtle Conservation, Marine Pollution and Overfishing.  Conservation Village Partners have been asked to present a specific, "everyday" act of conservation relating to their booth's topic to demonstrate "How Can I Rock The Ocean?" The goal is to have fans to walk away understanding how everyday choices from sunscreen to facial cleansers can impact and improve our coastal environment.

This year’s Conservation Village partners are: Beneath the Waves, Billfish Foundation, Bimini Biological Field Station Foundation, Biscayne National Park, Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program, The Coral Restoration Foundation, Clean Vibes Trading Post, Florida Department of Environmental Protection Southeast Florida Coral Reef Initiative, Friends of Our Florida Reefs, Florida Fishing Academy, Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission Lionfish Program, Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission Division of Marine Fisheries Management Outreach and Education Subsection, Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation, International Game Fish Association, Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Nova Southeastern University Oceanographic Center - Coral Nursery Initiative, Nova Southeastern University Oceanographic Center - Kerstetter Fisheries Laboratory, Nova Southeastern University Oceanographic Center  - Guy Harvey Research Institute, Project Baseline, RECOVER, REEF, Rock The Ocean Foundation, Sea To Shore Alliance, Sea Turtle Oversight Protection (STOP), Sharks 4 Kids, Shark Team One, University of Miami - Shark Research & Conservation Program, University of Miami - Rescue A Reef, University of Miami - Rosenstiel School of Atmospheric Science and Wildlife Voice.  There will also be cooking demonstrations and delicious samples of responsibly sourced ocean fish and gourmet recipes in the Green Gourmet tent from the following: Big Chef, Piccolo Ristorante, The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, and Sea Delight Ocean Fund.

Many of the exhibits will be interactive and hands-on. People will be able to explore a coral nursery, view a manned submersible, experience an interactive Touch Tank, challenge big game fish in a simulator game, learn how to safely remove predatory lionfish, see what a sea turtle nest looks like and more. Concert attendees will also be able to visit the Clean Vibes Trading Post where they can exchange their recyclables and trash for a variety of prizes to help promote personal responsibility of leaving the beach clean after the event.

The objective of the one-of-a-kind Rock The Ocean’s Conservation Village is to provide attendees with information and tools about key ocean conservation issues in a fun, learning environment that complements the amazing performances from headliners Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley, as well as Sam Hunt, Old Dominion, Billy Currington, Randy Houser, Tucker Beathard, Kristian Bush, Ryan Hurd, Cam, Kelsea Ballerini, JJ Grey & Mofro, Thomas Rhett, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Elle King, Joe Nichols, Jon Pardi, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Chris Janson, Kip Moore, Bobby Bones and his comedy band the Raging Idiots, Courtney Cole, A Thousand Horses, Waterloo Revival, Muddy Magnolias, Old Southern Moonshine Revival, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Native Run, Chase Bryant, LANco, Walker County, and Drew Baldridge.

Last year’s sold out festival drew more than 75,000 music fans from all over the world and raised awareness and funds for ocean conservation initiatives. More than $250,000 has been donated by the Rock The Ocean Foundation toward marine and ocean research and conservation programs from Tortuga Music Festival ticket proceeds and donations.

On what appeared to be a beautiful sunny day at the opening of the fourth annual Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival, tens of thousands of attendees packed the sand.  For the first Friday show in Tortuga history – a third day was added this year to accommodate the demand – fans were treated to amazing performances by Cam, Kristian Bush, Randy Houser, and more.

As the day rolled on and clouds started darkening, threatening lightning storms and severe winds became imminent, causing festival producers HUKA Entertainment to make the decision for a full evacuation – another first in the history of the fest.

Fans loyally waited out the storm in the hopes of a return, to see headliner Dierks Bentley.  Quite a storm ensued, but because of minimal damage on site, gates were reopened to an enthusiastic crowd.  Despite the storms, fans got to experience “the sweet release of a Friday night,” as Dierks sang to a jam-packed audience during his closing set.

After a tremendous opening day of 2016’s Tortuga Music Festival, fans will keep the party going with two more days of great music from Sam Hunt, Kelsea Ballerini, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Thomas Rhett, Elle King, headliners Tim McGraw and Blake Shelton, and many more.

Mon, 04/18/2016 - 7:25 am

Huka Entertainment announced today a record year for the fourth annual Rock The Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival, held over the weekend at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. Nearly 90,000 fans flocked to the beach for three days of performances from superstars Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley, along with Sam Hunt, Elle King, Thomas Rhett, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kelsea Ballerini and 25 more musical acts!

What began as country music’s first large-scale festival on the beach, primarily attended by local fans, has grown to become the world’s dominant destination location event, drawing attendees from 47 states and 16 countries to Tortuga. Check out highlights from 2016’s Tortuga Music Festival HERE.

“HUKA is honored to produce large-scale destination-location festivals - it’s the fierce loyalty of our Tortuga fans who allow us to raise the bar each year,” said HUKA Entertainment CEO, Evan Harrison.

A.J. Niland, HUKA Entertainment Chief Experience Officer adds, “with the fan response to this year’s enhancements like more shade, art installations, and better flow, my mind is already racing with innovative surprises for next year.”

Expanding to a third day in 2016 proved to be a massive win for Tortuga Music Festival, which has quickly become a permanent fixture within the extremely competitive music festival landscape. Plans are already underway for Tortuga’s 5th anniversary celebration, with more details to be revealed soon.

Vinyl records, what many music enthusiasts and purists alike insist is the preferred listening vehicle, are experiencing a huge resurgence and records are essential items at bands’ merchandising tables. Publications from the New York Times to the Wall Street Journal to Fortune Magazine to the Huffington Post to the UK Guardian and many others have highlighted this phenomenon.  Sales of vinyl records will reach a billion dollars in 2017 and turntable sales are keeping pace with the vinyl boom.

Enter SunPress Vinyl, South Florida’s answer to the vinyl revolution.  When the principals of the company were looking to purchase pressing equipment they were drawn to a facility in South Florida that had what they wanted.  But when they actually came over to acquire the equipment and ship it to Brooklyn, they found something much more. They found history.

“What we found were machines that delivered the immortal sounds of Bob Marley, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, and Toots and the Maytals,” said Dan Yashiv, SunPress’ principal.  “And they were housed in the legendary facility that produced records for the world renowned reggae label Studio One. We knew this is where we wanted to begin our operations.”

SunPress Vinyl is housed in the former Final Vinyl factory, founded in the 1970s by reggae pioneer Joe Gibbs. As the U.S. base of Gibbs’ operations, and later, Studio One's Clement 'Sir Coxsone' Dodd's main pressing facility, the plant issued classic works by reggae’s greatest artists.

SunPress Vinyl was founded by recording engineer Dan Yashiv who recorded many top artists including the Pet Shop Boys, Britney Spears and De La Soul, and film producer Stephen Hays who’s 120dB Films produced hundreds of films. Together with Dan Pelson, former Executive Vice President of Sony Music, the group understands the continuing legacy in which their business will be operating.  Also on board as an advisor is Benji Rogers, who’s direct-to-fan music platform PledgeMusic pre-sells vinyl records for hundreds of artists from The Flaming Lips to Wyclef Jean.

The entire infrastructure and each of the six pressing machines located here has been given a first class rebuild. There are five fully automatic presses and one semi-automatic press capable of pressing multi-colored and picture discs. Current turnaround time for orders is running at only 6 weeks.

Head engineer Chris Moss, a long-time vinyl pressing veteran, ensures that the machinery is performing at top form under the most demanding quality control. The venerable Headley Haslam, who pressed almost every record during the Joe Gibbs and Studio One years, is now back at the pressing post he first filled in the 1970s.

Staying true to the location’s reggae roots, SunPress Vinyl has just entered into a partnership with Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong Inernational. Tuff Gong will press its own catalog and third party releases at SunPress Vinyl in Miami.

“We are thrilled by Tuff Gong’s endorsement and look forward to starting our relationship by pressing Bob Marley and Stephen Marley releases,” says Stephen Hays, Sunpress’ principal. Reggae’s influence on contemporary music is indisputable, with vinyl records playing a key part of the process.  SunPress Vinyl is proud to continue this rich tradition honoring the history of its location.

While SunPress Vinyl is working with well-established labels, the company is committed to delivering top quality vinyl records in a timely manner, to independent and emerging artists and labels, locally and worldwide. Recent order of high-quality 180g records was delivered to local DJ/producer Richie Hell, who sold out in less than three weeks and has placed a re-order.

“Bring us an audio recording and your artwork and we’ll give you a vinyl record . . . a true piece of art!” says Yashiv.  “SunPress Vinyl is committed to extending the long vinyl legacy in Miami, and restoring a vibrant hub for the production of beautiful, analogue music.”

SunPress Vinyl operates at the Studio One’s former Final Vinyl location, 14097 NW 19th Ave, Miami/Opa-locka, FL.  Orders and inquiries can be made by phone 786-577-0983 or online at www.sunpressvinyl.com

The one, the only ZZ Top swings into the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater Friday, March 17th, 2017 / 8:30PM in their most intimate performance in years.  Tickets are  on sale starting NOW!

ZZ TOP a/k/a “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas,” lay undisputed claim to being the longest running major rock band with original personnel intact and, in 2004, the Texas trio was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Of course, there are only three of them – Billy F Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Frank Beard -- but it’s still a remarkable achievement that they’re still very much together after more than 45 years of rock, blues, and boogie on the road and in the studio. ZZ TOP’s music is always instantly recognizable, eminently powerful, profoundly soulful and 100% Texas American in derivation.  The band’s support for the blues is unwavering both as interpreters of the music and preservers of its legacy.  ZZ TOP’s support and link to the blues remains as rock solid as the music they continue to play.  They have sold millions of records over the course of their career, have been officially designated as Heroes of The State of Texas, have been referenced in countless cartoons and sitcoms and are true rock icons but, against all odds, they’re really just doing what they’ve always done.  “Yeah,” says Billy, guitarist extraordinaire, “we’re the same three guys, bashing out the same three chords.” They’re real and they’re surreal and they’re ZZ TOP.

Reserved Seat tickets for ZZ Top Friday, March 17th, 2017 / 8:30PM are $93.50, $79.50 and $55.50.  They are on sale NOW at LiveNation.com or charge by phone 800-745-3000 and at the Fillmore Box Office during normal business hours (Mon. – Fri., 11AM – 6PM and during show days).

The “Day of the Dead” Celebration believes that on every 2nd of November, the gateway between Mictlan, the ancient Aztec Land of the Dead, and our world opens so we may celebrate with our lost loved ones for one special time of year.  Now the Ninth Annual Florida “Day of the Dead” introduces “Night of the Dead” which takes the celebration to a whole new level the following day and creates an exciting atmosphere of music and dance.

The Grateful Dead experience of Dark Star Orchestra, performing two full sets, headlines the first ever “Night of the Dead” Celebration Saturday, November 3rd, at the Revolution Live Street Party, 100 SW Third Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.  The show also features the creative spark of the seminal New Orleans band Galactic and guitar driven virtuosity of the Bobby Lee Rodgers Trio.  The gates for this Revolution Live Street Party open at 3PM with a mariachi band, food and craft vendors and more events. Early Bird tickets go on sale August 22nd / 10AM.

With their unique link to the Grateful Dead, Dark Star Orchestra is the perfect choice to headline this first ever Festival.  Offering a continually evolving artistic outlet within the Grateful Dead’s musical canon, members of Dark Star Orchestra seek out the unique style of each performance era and offer their own interpretations and improvisations at each show.  Using entire set lists from the Grateful Dead’s decades of touring as a launching pad, Dark Star Orchestra recreates song for song performances straight from the set list of these historic shows.  Dark Star Orchestra isn’t a cover band. Its shows are not even meant as tributes.  What Dark Star Orchestra tirelessly strives for and achieves is a continuation of the spirit of what has now become over forty years of the Grateful Dead’s timeless music.

It’s been more than 20 years since Ben Ellman, Robert Mercurio, Stanton Moore, Jeff Raines and Rich Vogel began exploring the seemingly limitless musical possibilities born out of their work together as Galactic. Since then, the seminal New Orleans band has consistently pushed artistic boundaries on the road and in the studio, approaching their music with open ears and drawing inspiration as much from the sounds bubbling up from their city’s streets as they do from each other. Shot through with soul, funk, blues and rock, their music is an organic riff on elements of Galactic’s past, filtered through the lens of where they’re headed.

Whether rocking out to his own compositions in the jazz or jamband scenes or presenting his unique interpretations of musical greats such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane or Wes Montgomery, guitarist Bobby Lee Rodgers is staking out a legendary path with fans and critics alike. His unique sound and stylings are garnering a growing popularity wherever he performs.

Spiral Light is led by Joni Bottari on Jerry Garcia influenced lead guitar, along with Nick Landess a veteran of the Jam Band scene in South Florida on keys and soulful lead vocals.  On bass is Leslie Zigel, perhaps best known for his day gig as South Florida’s premiere entertainment attorney representing global superstars such as Pitbull, Carlos Vives, and Wisin. On drums is South Florida Jam Band Veteran, Dan East. Special guest David Gans, host of SiriusXM’s Tales from the Golden Road and renowned music journalist, will open with a solo set and then join Spiral Light onstage on rhythm guitar..

A David Gans "solo electric" performance is likely to consist of several elements: country-blues-style fingerpicking; loop-based improvisations created live in the moment; sweetly-sung ballads, original or borrowed; Grateful Dead songs reinterpreted to suit his voice and guitar; wry observations of the music-festival subculture and the larger world; soulful and passionate political commentary; favorites from the folk-rock canon of the last 50 years. Mix and match - it's never the same show twice, but it's always worth a listen.

General admission tickets are $15 and go on sale Wednesday, November 28 / 10AM. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $40 and include table reservation and bottle service on request. To purchase tickets in advance, visit http://www.fillmoremb.com/gleasonroom. Tickets are also available at the box office and at the door. Doors open at 8 PM and the show starts at 9 PM.

For the ultimate experience, fans can purchase a Meet and Greet package with David Gans, and receive a signed copy of David’s most recent book, This Is All a Dream We Dreamed: an Oral History of the Grateful Dead. South Florida Deadheads you do not want to miss out on this one night only show with Spiral Light and David Gans, sure to steal your face right off your head!

Kaya Fest 2019 has just announced more exciting performers added to the Festival lineup. Multi-Platinum Grammy Award winning, international superstar Sean Paul joins the lineup. While cemented in reggae and dancehall from his home country, Sean Paul maintains a multi-national presence with numerous collaborations in genres such as EDM, soca, pop, afrobeats and Latin. The cross-over icon also boasts a remarkable fan base in Latin America, Japan, Europe and USA.  He will be performing with popular dancehall artist Chi Ching Ching who is more than just a deejay: he’s a dancer, socialite and street linguist, constantly creating new moves and coining colourful new slang, which in turn inspires his music. An entertainer in every sense of the word, the sky is definitely the limit for the man who is already “Talla Dan Dem.”

Celebrating 45 years, reggae legends Third World is one of the longest-lived Reggae bands of all time, and one of Jamaica's most consistently popular crossover acts among international audiences. Mixing in elements of R&B, funk, pop, and rock and, later on, dancehall and rap, Third World’s style has been described as "reggae-fusion".

While Third World is the legend, the future is young roots music performer Koffee.  One of the hottest performers in reggae today, she feels her mission is to preserve Jamaica’s roots and culture in music and to empower the youth of her generation through her musical journey across the world. She states: “I want to make a better world for the generation that's coming up, to promote love and peace, and even though I’m young, I feel that the Creator has blessed me with talent and wisdom to get the job done”.

These additions provide a strong variety of performers that add strength to an already dynamic lineup.  And more performers will be added soon.

Acclaimed Singer, Songwriter and Guitarist Gary Clark Jr. returns to the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater Saturday, March 9th, 2019 / 8:30PM and tickets are on sale Friday, November 16th / 10AM.

To sum up Texan Gary Clark Jr. is more challenging every day. He’s a musical universe unto himself, expanding at a nearly immeasurable rate, ever more hard to define — as a mind-blowing guitarist, a dazzling songwriter and engagingly soulful singer.  He has been compared to guitar icons like Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, and his playing is a powerful and inspired mix of blues, contemporary soul, and hip-hop, and when he's rolling at his best, he sounds like nothing so much as a natural hybrid of both the past and the future of the blues.  An amazing live performer, Clark soon became one of the brightest players on Austin's blues and rock scene.  But Clark is far from just a one-trick pony guitar gunslinger. He can also sing, write, and arrange. Clark was selected by Eric Clapton to perform at the Crossroads Guitar Festival, and a DVD of the show featuring Clark led to a recording deal with Warner Bros. Clark was soon in the studio working on his major-label debut album, Blak and Blu. His next release was the impressive two-disc Live, recorded during an 18-month-long tour. Live better represented Clark's wild, impassioned, and often elegantly graceful live sets. After more touring, Clark released his second major-label studio set, The Story of Sonny Boy Slim. The album debuted at eight on the Billboard charts. Clark notched his first singles chart entry with a cover of the Beatles' "Come Together," which he recorded for the Justice League film soundtrack. His latest studio album is scheduled for an early 2019 release. A man of few words, he’s quietly grateful that the music he makes his way has connected with so many. “To think a weird idea I noodled on at the house has gone to something 40,000 people might hear at a festival is an indescribable feeling,” he told Esquire recently. “As cool as I might try to be, I think, ‘Oh my God, this is real!’”

General Admission tickets for Gary Clark Jr. Saturday, March 9th, 2019 / 8:30PM are $42.50 in advance and $46.50 day of show. A limited number of Special Reserved Seats are available for $64.50.  All tickets are on sale Friday, October 25th / 10AM at LiveNation.com or charge by phone 800-745-3000 and at the Fillmore Box Office during normal business hours (Mon. – Fri., 11AM – 6PM and during show days).

Well-known guitarist, singer and songwriter Bobby Lee Rodgers, a founding member and creative force behind The Codetalkers with Col. Bruce Hampton, is set to release his newest solo effort Sled. Filled with New Orleans style Funk mixed with a sprinkling of smooth soulful sounds, the 9-song album will be available for download Tuesday April 23rd on most popular sites.

Sled is a funk charged musical experience that is sure to keep your toes tapping.  Rodgers’ fingers fly across the fretboard creating unique sounds that pour from his Leslie speakers and create the perfect complement to his velvet growl.  From the first song “Invisible Prison” all the way to the haunting mystery of “Body In The Lake,” Rodgers never fails to bring his musical vision to the listener.  He shows his playful side with “California Shorts,” “Surfin’ With The Spy” and “Steve Mcstar” then slips into the politically charged “Electronic President.”  Yet he can still bring the romance with the beautiful tender ballad “U” or greeting a long lost friend in “Long Time.”  And through it all his virtuoso guitar licks carry it all home and tie it all together.

Rodgers fuses rock, funk, jazz and blues into a magical musical tapestry. He was one of the youngest instructors of Jazz Studies with the prestigious Berklee College of Music yet it is performing that absolutely fuels his energy.  Whether playing his originals or capturing sounds of the jazz culture, Bobby Lee Rodgers can truly be called one of the new modern day guitar greats.

Bobby Lee Rodgers newest solo album Sled featuring the Bobby Lee Rodgers Trio will be available Tuesday, April 23rd on iTunes. Spotify and most other download sites.  CDs are available through CD Baby and Bandcamp.  The album was produced for Long Song Records by Rodgers and engineered by Andrew Yeomanson.  The Bobby Lee Rodgers trio includes Bobby Lee Rodgers on guitar and vocals along with the two Brians, Brian Tate on bass and Brian Lange on drums.

Y&T Music is proud to announce a special album release to benefit Guitars Over Guns, featuring artists with South Florida ties, covering famous anti-war and protest songs from the ’60s, ’70s, and beyond.

Growing up in the ‘60s, we witnessed the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and Robert Kennedy. We saw our country torn apart by a senseless war taking place in Vietnam - it was a tumultuous time in our nation's history. It was during this period when many artists raised their voices to be heard, hoping to affect change. Bob Dylan, Phil Ochs, Stephen Stills, and many others wrote songs that spoke to the struggles of their time, and it is in that spirit that this album came to be, to encourage new artists to be engaged with the issues that matter the most.

To us, that issue is gun violence, and how we can encourage America’s youth to step away from its perilous course. Guitars Over Guns has risen up to make a difference in the lives of so many underprivileged kids. They do this by offering students from our most vulnerable communities a powerful combination of music education and mentorship with professional musicians, to help them overcome hardship, find their voices and reach their potential as tomorrow’s leaders. It is our great hope that this album and all the artists who contributed will help raise awareness for this special organization!

The album is set for worldwide release for August 14th with a “virtual album release party” to be aired live on Facebook and YouTube, set for August 20th at 8 PM EST.  The event will be a fundraiser for Guitars Over Guns and will feature most of the contributing artists performing their recorded song and talking about why they chose to be a part of this special project.
