~The Forest does not belong to us, we belong to the Forest~Many words are not necessary to convey truth, but many faces are.  The more beautiful faces that come together, the more beautiful the story is.  This weekend, 6/27- 6/30/2013, so many beautiful faces will create the pages of our story at Electric Forest Festival in Rothbury, MI.  Like infinite butterfly wings, precious and painted, the parallel pages will pass as the story of 2013 unfolds.The photogenic fairy tale known as

BoomBox embarks on their 2013 summer tour with festivals stops at Wakarusa, Bounce, Manifest, Electric Forest, Camp Bisco, Summerset and Equifunk. They will stop in the Midwest for a few club dates along the way and cap the summer off at Red Rocks supporting Lotus with Break Science and Minnesota. They are also spending time in the studio putting the final touches on their third release titled “Fill In The Color”.

You know what the world really needs? Another music festival. Just kidding of course, I’m very happy to be living in a day and age where this summer I have an outstanding choice of festivals with phenomenal lineups, plus the annual jump on the bus summer tours to choose from, all within easy drives from the NYC area. My only complaint festival wise is how uniform most of the lineups are. There’s a lot to be said for diversity, and with that in mind I have the perfect suggestion.

Country superstar Tim McGraw's "Southern Girl" is being released to radio today as the fourth single from his Big Machine Records debut, TWO LANES OF FREEDOM.   The "seductively melodic" (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette) track has had an infectious reaction from fans on the TWO LANES OF FREEDOM 2013 Tour, which continues to sell out venues coast to coast.  "At the beginning of the tour, we threw a lot of new songs into the set list, and that's always a risky thing when an album is so brand new," said McGraw.

Katie Ekin’s music reflects the laid back, happy style of the small town where she grew up in Santa Cruz, CA. Bursting on the music scene with the beautiful sounds of her new EP, Caught Up in You, Katie puts poetry to music in the six songs offered.
