Lockn' Festival presents Robert Plant and The Sensational Space Shifters for an exclusive two-night engagement that will feature two completely different sets on September 12 & 13, 2015. Plant has never done anything like this in his career, and it will undoubtedly make for some unique and historical moments.

Having just played a triumphant and powerful Bonnaroo performance this past weekend, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space are far from ready to stop touring in support of what many critics are calling his greatest solo album, lullaby and...The Ceaseless Roar (Nonesuch/Warner Bros). Records. Today, the band is announcing new fall dates, including two shows at Lockn' Music Festival, as well as rescheduled ones to make up for last week's postponed shows in Toronto, Detroit and Chicago. Tickets already purchased will be honored at the rescheduled shows.

Last weekend Louisville, Kentucky hosted the eleventh annual Forecastle Festival on the banks of the Ohio River. Over 75,000 fans, four stages, 65 musical acts and one festival evacuation made for an exciting weekend. With live music comes the element of surprise and it was plentiful this year. Unfortunate cancellations were made by acts Animal Collective, Dan Deacon, and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings due to illness and the threat of powerful thunderstorms shifted the schedules during two day of the event.

The Wanee Journals 2011: From Earthtones to Electric Blues- A Colorful Sound Experience

After much coordination and navigation, our group celebrated the successful creation of a small tent/popup, tapestry and solar light embellished village by partaking in a few ice cold libations before heading toward the music. As we walked in the dark down the windy dirt road in the direction of deep rooted bass and canopy swinging melodies, a myriad of bioluminescent extensions of the forest helped to light our way.

"Tennessee, Tennessee, there ain't no place I'd rather be, Baby won't you carry me back to Tennessee."  As I packed up the car and prepared for my road trip, I couldn't shake the lyrics of 'Tennessee Jed' off my mind.  Chicago, IL to Manchester, TN – 534 miles.  This was going to be my triumphant return to the festival I had grown to love in its first three years, but hadn't been able to get back to since 2004.  Bonnaroo, for some, is the pinnacle of music festivals across the nation and even the world.
