Brandi Carlile’s Girls Just Wanna Weekend—a destination concert vacation produced by Cloud 9 Adventures in partnership with The Bowery Presents—will take place at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico from January 29-Febraury 2, 2020 and once again feature an all female-fronted lineup. In addition to multiple sets from Carlile, the festival will include performances by Sheryl Crow, Lake Street Dive, Patty Griffin, Lucius, Wanda Sykes (comedy set), KT Tunstall, Jade Bird, Amanda Shires and Yola as well as special guests Ruby Amanfu, Natalie Hemby and Katie Herzig.

The Allman Betts Band has announced that their debut album Down To The River (BMG) will be released everywhere on June 28. The first single, “All Night” is due out on May 17.

Down To The River was recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Muscle Shoals, AL and was produced by Grammy Award winning Matt Ross-Spang (Jason Isbell, Margo Price, John Prine and Elvis Presley).

Peter Levin (Gregg Allman's Hammond B3 player) and Chuck Leavell (former Allman Brothers Band keyboardist and current Rolling Stones keyboardist) make special appearances on the record.

Rock titans Gov't Mule have announced the release of Bring On The Music - Live at The Capitol Theatre, a brand new live CD/DVD package out June 28th via Provogue / Mascot Label Group. Filmed at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, on April 27th and 28th, 2018, the 9-camera video shoot was directed by renowned music photographer and director Danny Clinch (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Phish).

Produced by Chris Wright of Violet Studios, “Speak of Heaven” marks a turning point for a band known for live shows and energetic improvisation. By focusing the band on their vocal harmonies, Wright has brought the band to another level of playing.

It was a good day. Redondo Beach, California’s, inaugural BeachLife Festival got off to a splendid start on Friday, May 3, with Bob Weir, Chris Robinson, Slightly Stoopid, and Steel Pulse leading the way, and the undercard featuring lots of roots-reggae rock, all of which colorfully defined the SoCal beach vibe. Cool breezes from the adjacent Santa Monica Bay and the Pacific Ocean kept temperatures in the 60s while the early May SoCal sun beamed down on several thousand rosy-faced attendees.
