Bisco Inferno to light up the Rocks this weekend!

Spring is in the air, and its time to get outside.  The outdoor music scene is just starting to kick in to high gear. If you’re anything like me, your calendar is filling up fast with festival dates, bar-b-ques, and all manner of fun-in-the-sun distractions. You’ve already called in sick to about half the summer work hours, and now you’re praying you don’t run into the boss down at the park this afternoon.

If, however, you feel like your summer is off to a slow start, I’ve got the perfect kick-off event for you.  Break out your dancing shoes (or sandals if you’re a real Coloradoan), because this weekend, on Saturday May 30, The Disco Biscuits are hosting their own mini-festival at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO.  Dubbed Bisco Inferno, this all night groove-a-thon is sure to be a hit, featuring some of the best electro-fusion, dance, and club artists on the scene today.  And what better place than Red Rocks to do it?  I can practically taste the laser lights bouncing off those gorgeous sandstone cliffs, illuminating the clear Colorado night sky.  Delicious!

And if that’s still not enough, make a weekend of it!  On Friday night, the Disco Biscuits will be at the Ogden Theater in Denver while Lotus plays the Fox Theater in Boulder.  Regardless of your individual tastes, there’s more than enough music to go around.

On Saturday, The Biscuits are down for two full sets, and as if that’s not enough to excite you, there’s a veritable laundry list of talented artists to occupy your time before the main event.  Preceded by heavy-hitters like Paul Oakenfold, Lotus, DJ Z-Trip, The New Deal, RJD2, and Orchard Lounge, the Disco Biscuits are not so much the “main event” per se as one of a cavalcade of sonic euphoria purveyors.  Long story short, come early, plan on staying late, and bring plenty of beer and water money.

Oh, and don’t forget those dancing sandals!
