Grateful Web is delighted to announce the official release of Al Staehely's music video, "Something Good Is Gonna Happen." This vibrant new video was shot on a buffalo ranch just outside of Marathon, TX. Directed by the award-winning young talent, Charlie Schwan, it brings together the indomitable spirit of Texas and the creative force of Staehely's music.

Al Staehely, a third-generation Austinite, who now divides his time between Houston and the Big Bend high desert area of far West Texas, has recorded his new album "Somewhere in West Texas" in Marfa, TX. This album showcases an all-star lineup of musicians, including Fran Christina, Scrappy Jud Newcomb, and Chris Maresh.

Staehely's unique blend of experiences set him apart in the music world. He's the only person to have performed at the prestigious Carnegie Hall and provided legal services for music legend Stevie Ray Vaughan. His tenure as lead vocalist, bass player, and chief songwriter for the critically acclaimed band, Spirit, and subsequent successful tours in Canada, Australia, and the U.S. have cemented his reputation in the industry.

Al's unwavering commitment to his music and law career shows in his diverse collaborations, performing with artists like Roy Orbison, Jefferson Starship, Emmylou Harris, and even Rodney Dangerfield. His varied discography spans decades, with his solo record "Staehaley’s Comet" in 1982, the US release "Al Staehely and 10k Hours" in 2011, and the EP "Cadillac Cowboys" by Al Staehely and the Explosives in 2013.

The official video for "Something Good Is Gonna Happen" perfectly captures the spirit of the album 'Somewhere In West Texas.' Viewers will appreciate the authentic Texan backdrop, the '71 Gran Torino, and an armadillo hood ornament that graces the car in the video.
