COLDPLAY TO PERFORM ON "THE COLBERT REPORT"

Coldplay will rock out on "The Colbert Report" for the first time this Thursday, October 20 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT. The performance will include a television debut of a new song from Coldplay's forthcoming album “Mylo Xyloto,” which will be released on Monday, October 24 and is available for pre-order via www.itunes.com.In addition to offering fans the first televised version of their new song, Coldplay will perform a second song from their upcoming album that will be available for viewing exclusively at www.ColbertNation.com.Musicians who have previously appeared on "The Colbert Report” include Mos Def & Talib Kweli are Black Star, Radiohead, The Black Belles, Florence & The Machine, Bon Iver, LCD Soundsystem, Steve Martin and The Steep Canyon Rangers, Gorillaz, Cee Lo Green, Alicia Keys, Paul Simon, Neil Young, Tony Bennett, Willie Nelson, R.E.M., The Roots, John Legend, Barry Manilow, John Mellencamp, NAS, Toby Keith, Feist, Rush, Peter Frampton, Carole King, Elvis Costello, among many others."The Colbert Report" airs Monday-Thursday at 11:30 p.m. and repeats at 1:30 a.m. the same night and at 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. the following day (all times ET/PT).
