In support of their debut double LP entitled On Patrol due out June 12th, D.O.T.S. C.O.N.F.U.S.E. M.I.N.D.S. ("DCM") share their first official video release for the single Jenn You Whine.

D.O.T.S. C.O.N.F.U.S.E. M.I.N.D.S. is a Brooklyn-based improvisational rock band that emphasizes creative song writing, seamlessly crossing genre boundaries, and stylishly interweaving sophistication with infectious cathiness.

On June 12th, DCM will celebrate the release of their 22 song debut double LP with a CD release party at New York City's Webster Hall (the Studio). Additionally, the band will also host all ages day-time kids show as a fundfaiser for Brooklyn's PS 261 at Littlefield on Sunday June 22nd.

In terms of reference points for the debut album, the band points to the Talking Heads and the Pixies for more modern sounds and the Grateful Dead, Music From Big Pink, Exile on Main Street, and the multi-guitar arrangements of Buffalo Springfield for older sounds.

Musically, DCM's influences span various genres including psych, indie rock, jam, bluegrass, surf rock, indie pop, and punk. The hallmark of the band lies in their ability to craft high quality songs across a variety of genres. The band aims to write songs with pop song precision, yet they have a deep respect for improvisation so it's not uncommon for the material to take on new directions in the live setting.

DCM consists of Scott Howard (vocals), Ryan Demler (guitar), Alex Stimmel (guitar), Adrian Mullins (drums, joined post-album production), Kenny Llort (bass, joined post-album production), and Natalie Pergament (vocals). Additionally, Steve Tatowicz (drums), Randy Dunn (bass), Jackson Kincheloe (harmonica, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds), and Ben Smith (banjo) performed on On Patrol.
