Following a two-year intermission from live events, The New Mastersounds made a triumphant return to the studio, crafting their 17th studio album, 'The Deplar Effect,' at the pristine Floki Studios in Iceland. Released in September 2022 via Color Red, the album showcases the talents of Atlanta-based vocalist Lamar Williams Jr, who adds a fresh yet soulful twist to the band's classic sound. Williams' connection to musical royalty, as the son of Lamar Williams of the Allman Brothers, brings a deep-rooted musicality and authenticity to this latest project.
