Pink Talking Fish is having a landmark year in 2023. It started out with the band performing Pink Floyd’s album Dark Side Of The Moon for every show on Spring Tour in celebration of the masterpiece’s 50th Anniversary. Two weeks ago, PTF announced an extensive Summer/Fall Tour that included the band’s 10 year anniversary party. Last week, more excitement was added with a brand new circus style show called “This Must Be The Cirque” at The Capitol Theatre which is an encore of the famous 2018 show, “Junta Circus”.
But wait…there’s more!!!
On December 1st and 2nd, PTF will be welcoming The Giant Country Horns to the stage! Dave “The Truth” Grippo, Carl “Gears” Gerhard and Russel “Killer” Remington were Phish’s original horn section who toured and recorded with the band. They have joined PTF a handful of times in the past and are back for more in two very meaningful areas of Phishtory.
Friday, December 1st will be in Burlington VT at Higher Ground. Having The Giant Country Horns performing Phish tunes in VT will be such a special experience.
Saturday, December 2nd will be in Keene NH at The Colonial Theatre. This venue is home to one of the more famous Phish w/ GCH shows from their tour in 1991 and was released on Live Phish.
Pink Talking Fish will be revisiting classic phish songs with The Giant Country Horns along with exploring the music of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and more. This will no doubt be an unforgettable weekend!
