ROTHBURY Adds Trey Anastasio and Unveils the Think Tank

ROTHBURY is honored to welcome Trey Anastasio to the already stellar artist lineup. ROTHBURY marks Trey's first official performance since December 2006.

In other exciting ROTHBURY news, today the festival announces the Think Tank program schedule and a long list of Think Tank moderators and participants.

The ROTHBURY Think Tank - an event within the event offering various buzz sessions and roundtables between leading scientists, scholars, writers, progressive political and corporate leaders, youth leaders, entertainers and fans - will address the topic of Climate Change and Finding Energy Independence.

Curated by the Nobel Peace Prize winning climate scientist Dr. Stephen Schneider, ROTHBURY Think Tank participants/moderators include Time magazine's 2000 'Hero of the Planet' L. Hunter Lovins, etown hosts Nick and Helen Forster, Empowerment Institute founder David Gershon, founder of Cooler Inc. Michel Gelobter, Native American author and activist Winona LaDuke, organizer of Focus the Nation Dr. Eban Goodstein, and many more.  Panel topics range from climate change, to energy solutions fostering a revolution, to America demanding change from our political leaders and the media.

etown, the nationally syndicated radio program bringing live music and information about our communities and the environment to the airwaves since 1991, will kick-off ROTHBURY's Think Tank at the festival. etown at ROTHBURY will follow the show's traditional radio format, which has deftly married music and messages for over 17 years. Happening Friday and Saturday in The Tripolee Domes, etown hosts/executive producers Nick and Helen Forster will lead engaging conversations with select Think Tank participants, and will host intimate musical performances by ROTHBURY artists Michael Franti, Citizen Cope, Sam Beam (of Iron and Wine) and others.
