At long last, Goose’s sophomore full-length studio album has arrived.

Today, saxophonist Dave McMurray announced a July 16th release date for Grateful Deadication, his sophomore release for Blue Note Records. On the new full-length, McMurray takes his gritty, soulful Detroit sound and reimagines the flower empowered songs of San Francisco icons the Grateful Dead with an album as vibrant as it is unexpected.

THE GARCIA PROJECT will bring some classic memories from the Jerry Garcia Band as they perform a full setlist selected from 1976-1995. Opening up the night will be DEADGRASS AND FRIENDS performing their bluegrass interpretations of the music of the Grateful Dead.

Hearing Ric Robertson for the first time, you’ll be forgiven if John Prine is the first name that comes to mind. Robertson’s voice has the same soft Southern burr as Prine’s, the same Zen acceptance of humanity’s failings, and, most importantly, the same sense of playfulness in the music. There’s a bit of Willie Nelson in there too, not just from all the smoke in the air, but from the colliding elements of jazz, funk, and country. Robertson’s an American original, pulling influences from the greats that came before, but wholly responsible for creating his own creative universe.

The 2021 New York Guitar Festival (NYGF) pays tribute to the iconic classical guitarist Julian Bream with an online series of concerts beginning July 14. This year’s series “Remembering Julian Bream,” includes commissions by a group of stellar classical guitarists, lutenists and composers –including Pepe Romero, Sharon Isbin, Leo Brouwer and Laura Snowden - in honor of the Grammy Award-winning concert artist who died at his home in Wiltshire, England on August 14, 2020, at the age of 87.

Dubbed An Acoustic Night with Dispatch, founding members Chadwick Stokes and Brad Corrigan will be joined by longtime bandmates and collaborators Matt Embree, John “JR” Reilly and Mike Sawitzke + special guest Emelise on all dates.

Platinum-selling singer, songwriter, musician, and producer David Shaw has announced headlining tour dates in support of his debut self-titled solo album, out now via his own imprint Yokoko Records in partnership with C3 Records.
