In celebration of Jerry Garcia's 75th birthday, The Garcia Project has teamed up with Jerry Day to bring northern California an exceptional run of shows. The tour begins on March 2 at Club Fox in Redwood City and continues through March 11 at The Center For The Arts in Grass Valley.
The Garcia Project’s performances are based on actual set lists performed by The Jerry Garcia Band. All of their shows are classic recreations of a Jerry Garcia Band set list from the 1970’s all the way up to the 1990’s. For anyone that never had a chance to experience the Jerry Garcia Band or for fans that want to relive a classic show, The Garcia Project delivers the goods.
After celebrating five years of shows, The Garcia Project will be performing their first west coast tour from February 25 to March 2 in Northern California. Tickets to all five shows can be purchased in advance from the venues or at www.thegarciaproject.com.
Tom Lieber, founder of Lieber Guitars and apprentice of Doug Irwin, is recreating Jerry Garcia’s guitars in for the Grateful Dead's 50th Anniversary next year. Each of these hand-crafted masterpieces are being built in a limited edition of 12.
