Hornsby’s previously released song “Cast-Off,” which was co-written with and features Justin Vernon, continues to receive critical praise— The New York Times says, “Vernon’s singing is characteristically pastel, while Hornsby’s has a heavy, urgent grounding.

March 29th, on a drizzly spring evening in Chicago, Trevor Hall and Dirtwire performed at Concord Music Hall to an all-ages show. The show collided two tribal influenced acts into one wholesome performance that nourished the crowd. After treating audiences of this tour to their new single “Strength in One”, the track is now out available for all to hear.  

Phish’s WaterWheel Foundation and The Mimi Fishman Foundation have joined forces in an on-line charity auction.  The auction features tickets for Phish’s 2019 Summer Tour, including sold out shows.  The auction is now available for bidding and comes to a conclusion April 25, 2019.

Two popular Ardmore businesses, entertainment mainstay Ardmore Music Hall and restaurant hotspot Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft, are joining forces in a new partnership between current AMH owner Chris Perella and Ripplewood owners Biff Gottehrer and Pete Martin.  Martin, who purchased the real estate of the former Fellini Café at 29 East Lancaster and adjacent storefronts, approached Perella last fall to discuss the possibility of combining their efforts on Lancaster Avenue.

Asheville, NC-based Travers Brothership have announced a lengthy tour in support of their latest release, Let The World Decide. Starting April 5th, the Brothership takes flight into new, uncharted territory, storming the east coast and deep south with their homegrown brand of funky, improvisation-driven rock and roll.

“I think of this album like a bunch of abstract paintings,” says Ghost Light’s Tom Hamilton. “We present the songs as a series meant to be experienced in a certain order, but at the end of the day, whatever that series makes you feel is totally up to you.”

Philadelphia's MINKA announces the final two EPs in their 2019 trilogy - two works that are complete opposites. The first is a potent blend of intrigue and sexuality – an R&B exploration of all things forbidden. The latter collection, by contrast, experiments with modern pop interpretations of 19th century classical repertoire. Mysteries of the Heart arrived on March 29 and Reincarnation, April 12.
