The Phryg, a progressive funk band from Brooklyn, NY, will release a new album on Thursday, November 11th, titled Ways of Nowhere, at the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY. They will be supported by fellow New York City based funk ensemble, We Thee Funk, as well as Johnny Butler and Alex Oliva. Usher in your weekend by a level of funk with these talented bands. The doors open at 6pm and show time is 8pm.

St. Paul & The Broken Bones have announced a lengthy 30-date 2022 US tour to support their forthcoming album and ATO Records debut The Alien Coast, out January 28.  The tour features some of the biggest headlining shows yet for the blazing Alabama 8-piece, including a performance at The Beacon Theatre in New York City on March 11.  One of the great live bands to emerge over the past few years, St.

Baltimore-based quartet Pigeons Playing Ping Pong plans to bring its unique blend of vivacious, high-octane funk to a city near you this winter. Starting in mid-January, PPPP will traverse the country, making eighteen stops at legendary theatres and ballrooms. Following a pair of shows at The Fillmore in Philadelphia (1/14-15), the funky foursome will flock to the midwest for a trio of shows in Grand Rapids, Cleveland, and Chicago (2/10-12).
