Dead & Company debuted at No. 1 as Pollstar’s HOT SHOT artist of the week with a ticket average of 21,934 from the first 11 concerts on the supergroup’s 2021 tour. Today, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and The Block Distilling Co. release a new collaborative bourbon aptly named The Night Sweats Straight Bourbon. To benefit The Marigold Project, Rateliff’s foundation, a portion of all bottle sales will fund community and nonprofit organizations that address issues of racial, social and economic justice.

I was a real nowhere lass, sitting on my nowhere ass, making all my nowhere plans for nobody. Memorial Day weekend is supposed to be spent at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL for Summer Camp Music Festival. Two years without my big blowout weekend left me a real blind bat. I had feared when they announced an August attempt, would it even happen? Would it be safe? Would it be the same? I was unperceptive to what I used to consider my thing, my scene, festivals were my jam.

Dead and Company returned to Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio last weekend for a Saturday night show that was one for the books. Great weather, perfect music, and a welcoming and happy crowd were just the right ingredients to make the perfect cocktail of a concert. To make things better, drummer Mickey Hart was celebrating his 78th birthday that day, and everybody loves a good birthday party.

Gov’t Mule’s 2019 live concert film Bring On The Music — Live at the Capitol Theatre is streaming now for the first time on The Coda Collection. Directed by music photographer Danny Clinch, the live concert film was shot at back-to-back shows in Port Chester, N.Y. in April 2018 in which the band delivered career-spanning sets.
