The Get Right Band will be releasing their fifth album on May 23, 2020. Itchy Soul explodes with fresh ideas and original production--voices fade into snyths, drums distort and echo through space, crunchy guitars twist and bend and rage, the bass is one moment heavy and driving, the next hypnotic and groovy. The Get Right Band filters 60's/70's psychedelia and 90's alternative rock through a modern lens--as if Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Nirvana co-wrote an album produced by Danger Mouse and Dan Auerbach.

The release of Restless Leg String Band’s newest tune “My Blood" quickly follows the title-track release "Seasonal Progression" off their upcoming album release coming later in 2020. The marquee boasted “Almost Sold Out” at the Arcada Theatre in St Charles, Illinois along the beautiful Fox River on a Friday night, 2/21/2020. Any fan of technical guitar playing was in the house as Eric Johnson performed screeching guitar solos and heavy rock for the first half.  If I thought this was going to be a new age type show I was wrong.  Eric Johnson was fishing for the biggest sound and he caught a whopper.

After a year that included headlining their own traveling festival all over Ireland, playing a series of sold-out holiday concerts at various venues in their hometown, slipping in a quick SRO engagement at the Mercury Lounge in New York City and releasing their first live album, The Coronas this week have rolled out a new single called “Haunted” as a prelude to their first album in three years. The single is now available via digital outlets worldwide through the band’s SoFarSoGood Records imprint distributed by Blix Street Records.<

In the midst of their 50th anniversary tour, Hot Tuna is joined by David Bromberg Quintet. The two beloved groups graced the stage of the storied Fillmore in San Francisco last weekend.  It was indeed a fitting venue for Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady whose deep-blues duo was birthed at Bill Graham’s Fillmore West in 1969.

Leslie Mendelson has released "Medication" (Listen/Share), the second single from the singer/songwriter's upcoming studio album, 'If You Can't Say Anything Nice...' due April 17 via Royal Potato Family. A haunting, piano ballad, Mendelson examines the pain and conflict caused by pharmaceutical addiction to those around her and even in her own life at times.

Today, on the heels of their successful January Living Room tour, Mipso announce that they are heading back on the road for their Spring 2020 tour. Mipso bring their intimate and sweeping live show to eight cities across the Northeast, including two nights in New York City at Rockwood Music Hall.
