The inaugural White River Arts & Music Festival (WARMfest) today announced Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue as part of their three-day lineup during the Labor Day weekend festival August 31-September 2 at Broad Ripple Park in Indianapolis. Live music will be featured throughout the entire run of the event on five stages and will include a mix of national, regional and local talent.Trombone Shorty is a trombone and trumpet player originally from New Orleans with a background in jazz, funk and rap music.

Country fans flooded Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, AZ tonight for the Country Cares Concert to benefit the families of the Granite Mountain Hot Shots who lost their lives in recent wildfires.  With just over a week to organize the event, Arizona native Dierks Bentley led the charge to raise over $476,000 with the help of The New KMLE Country @ 107.9, 92.9 KAFF Country and artist friends The Band Perry, Randy Houser and David Nail.Family members of the 19 firefighters and the sole surviving firefighter were in attendance at the event in an emotional yet celebratory night of music.

New York ethno-fusion collective TriBeCaStan will perform a special acoustic concert on Friday, August 2nd at the Rubin Museum, as part of the museum's ongoing Harlem in the Himalayas Concert.   The special all-acoustic performance, inspired by the Rubin's collection of ethnic art, is being designed specifically for the museum's intimate space.  The concert also promises a preview of the band's fourth album, NEW SONGS FROM THE OLD COUNTRY, which is due for release on Evergree
