The UK based Wille & The Bandits is proving to be a powerful trio of musicians that are bringing a unique style of jam band rock and blues flavor. They have been busy making waves in the UK and are about to unleash their US debut album Paths on August 2 alongside a trek of US shows this summer. “It’s Rolling Stones songs deconstructed,” says Bernard Fowler, explaining the title of his new album Inside Out.  “I just took these songs and turned them inside-out.”

Deeply rooted in the South, songwriter and performer Tony Joe White made one last musical trip back to the swamp before his death at age 75 in October 2018 — to re-record his deep and durable 1969 Top 10 hit “Polk Salad Annie” in his barn studio in Leipers Fork, Tennessee. Joined by bluesman Robert Cray, longtime accompanist Bryan Owings on drums, and a three-piece horn section, White turned his amplifier up and ignited the session, caught on this special vinyl-only release that’s out July 23, 2019 on White’s own Swamp Records.

Los Angeles transplants Vulfpeck took the crowd by storm Sunday night July 14th at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The show opened with a solo set by long-time Vulfpeck collaborator and local native Joey Dosik, with an accompanying multi-instrumentalist. A young crowd of enthusiastic fans gathered early at the outdoor amphitheater to enjoy the well-stocked food and beverage bars.

Ghost Town Drifters, a Denver-based bluegrass five-piece, is comprised of band members Oren Paisner (Mandolin), Scott Vincent (Upright Bass), Alex Tocco (Fiddle), Mike Testagrossa (Dobro) and Tom Mueller (Guitar). Hailing from different parts of the East Coast, this collective found its way to each other through mutual friends, local jam sessions, and previous band experiences, leading the way right to each other.
