Iron Maiden continue The Book Of Souls World Tour into 2017

Rock legends IRON MAIDEN continue their hugely successful The Book of Souls World Tour into 2017 with a series of European arena shows opening in Antwerp, Belgium on April 22, Maiden’s first visit to this city since 1981 on the Killers Tour! The band then travel to Germany for shows in Oberhausen, Frankfurt and Hamburg before heading into the UK and Ireland for an extensive series of concerts in May.

Swift Creek's "Bluegrass Hurricane" recalls World of Bluegrass 2015

Central North Carolina’s Swift Creek has released a music video for “Bluegrass Hurricane” from the album Magnolia, a collection of original Bluegrass and Americana music. The album consists of truly original tunes penned primarily by band member, Kevin Brown. The album was produced and recorded at the Rubber Room in Chapel Hill, NC by acclaimed producer and musician, Jerry Brown.

On an evening in which summer still ruled in North-Central California, the compelling and charismatic Avett Brothers visibly pleased 5,000 or so souls with their lilting musical storytelling on Sept. 16. The unbridled, rootsy, folk-rock stomp took place at Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s outdoor venue in Lincoln, near Sacramento, California.

Eric Johnson to Release All-Acoustic Album

Thirty years after his breakthrough solo release 'Tones' brought him national recognition, Texas guitar legend Eric Johnson is releasing his first all-acoustic album on October 7th via Provogue. Showcasing nine original compositions and four covers, 'EJ' is easily Johnson's most intimate album to date. "Ever since I was young, I've played piano and acoustic guitar in my private life," Johnson says. "This type of music has always been a part of me, but I never showcased it on any kind of bigger level, like a full acoustic record.
