American Babies is the pseudonym under which Philadelphia-based songwriter, vocalist and guitarist Tom Hamilton can be found creating his most personal and idiosyncratic work. Hamilton and his band will embark on an extensive U.S. tour this fall in support of their latest album, An Epic Battle Between Light & Dark.

I think I’m supposed to.” 'Lighthouse' is a collection of stripped-down, delicate and introspective songs that showcases David complex guitar work and is enhanced by his layered harmony vocals.
Wilco fans can have an early listen to the band’s forthcoming album Schmilco on Tuesday, Sept. 6, three days before the album’s official worldwide release Sept. 9. But it won’t be via an early online stream; instead, the Chicago band is showing its support for independent record stores — and the vinyl format in general — by encouraging fans to attend I Heard Schmilco listening parties at locations across the US and Canada.
